ALDI — Local services in Texas City

Once I found out about Aldi and all of the great deals they have I have become addicted. The people who work at this store are so awesome. When I am shopping Peggy and Aurora all ways makes sure to let me know what's on sale this week. The fruit is always fresh. The shelves are always stocked with good nutrition food. I absolutely love my local Aldi. I even sport the aldi logo clothes, bags and even pj's. Always telling everyone to go to Aldi, Peggy and Aurora are amazing if they are there to be sure to say hi to them. I see them both interact with other customers creating almost a close family sort of feeling amongst other people I don't even know. When I'm having a bad day, I go to aldi and always walk out with a grand smile...

I was at Aldi in Texas City one day last week. I stopped in to get a few things. I have been a loyal customer for years and love Aldi. Anyway, I was browsing past the meat section and saw a sign under some boneless, skinless chicken thighs for $1.79 lb. so I grabbed all they had. When I got to the register I was told this was not the chicken that was $1.79 lb. I asked for the manager. She said the same thing. I told her I want that price because that was what it was marked so in turn that is the price I should have to pay. The manager said no, no ,no. She said I'll give you one but thats it. I told her that wasn't right at all. That was the day I learned the great Aldi wasn't honorable. I can't do business with a store like that....

The biggest Aldi location I have been to yet, and in great condition. Clean, well stocked, and aesthetically pleasing. I'm so happy this location is here because I used to have to drive to Friendswood or Alvin to get to one. I always save quite a few bucks when I shop at Aldi without having to sacrifice some of those nicer things you would get at a larger grocery store.

My only drawback is the parking lot is a little creepy after dark... so if I need to do some late night shopping I bring my husband. But the lot is very well lit, and it's easy to park up front. I just sacrifice my quarter and leave my cart in the lot if I feel...
