Total Technique Salon — Local services in Texas City

I was a victim of "stylist shock" having been to an upscale salon in the Clear Lake area where I was charged a premium price for a sub premium cut, I had completely lost faith in anyones ability to touch my hair again. After a year of anxiety and numerous poor attempts at cutting my own hair ntm perusing an endless number of salons/reviews, I caved & started a serious search ready to make an appt. My search was close to home knowing that there had to be a plethora of talented, skilled stylists here, so based on reviews I jumped and called Total Technique. Monique was empathetic and understanding & got me in within an hour of calling. After a consultation & showing her a pic of the style I wanted she convinced me that my bangs weren't quite ready for that particular style; so I decided at that point that just trimming the raggedy ends & giving the frame around my face an actual frame was a good place to start. After abt 30ish minutes I saw a huge improvement & she had restored my faith in stylists & quelled my anxiety. I left the salon feeling confident & happy knowing that my hair wasn't the absolute wreck it was going in & it looked healthy again. There's not really a style to my hair yet but at least I can see that coming in the not so distant future & I'm excited again for the possibilities. Monique Garcia thank you so much! Go here if you like people to be super aggressive while cutting your hair. The girl didn't cut my hair the way I asked. Had to have help from others. Then another lady stepped in to try to cut my hair the way I asked. I thought the first girl was aggressive. She had nothing on this lady. I haven't cried during a haircut in 10 years. I recently got a hair cut for the first time with Marlene Lopez. I was a walk-in and we all know what a mistake that can be but Marlene really listen to what I wanted and she did wonderful. In fact that was the best hair cut I've had in a long time. So happy that I have found my new hair...
