This review was originally for previously privately owned sneaker store, before it changed names to JD Sport.
To the previous store owners: By far the worse customer service experience ever!
The staff seem completely disinterested in providing any customer service whatsoever (almost as if theyâve been trained this way - if there was ever any training provided).
Backstory: wanted a pair of shoes for my son. After looking through their limited selection, we eventually found a pair marked at a specific price. After finding the correct size (again most sizes they donât have), we decided to go ahead with the purchase. Upon checkout, the shoe price did not match the sticker price of the shoes we had selected - it was significantly higher. When we queried this, we were met by probably the most disinterested, rude, obnoxious and frankly worst attitude member of staff I have EVER come across! She couldnât provide an explanation, despite us showing her the sticker price and then to my shock proceeded to inform me that I could either buy them or leave?! The passing manager, then must of overheard and came in to further state that the price is higher because of the different shoe size to the display ticker.. and then just wandered off!!
As my son really wanted these shoes, I begrudgingly sucked it up and went ahead with the purchase. Upon handing over the cash, the arrogant cashier then smirked, then proceeded to literally throw the change back to me, despite my hand being politely raised & open! At this point my blood was boiling but remained composed for the sake of the children and let it go.. Upon asking for her name, she flatly refused to give it to me and walked off!
Still in complete disbelief at what had just happened, I saw the same âmanagerâ walk past again, with whom I voiced my complete displeasure.. To which his response was, âIâll deal with itâ, and then continued with whatever he was doing! I am sure, that nothing ever came about from my âcomplaintâ, and unfortunately, in my opinion, this level of incompetent service will only continue.
The only highlight/positive that came from all this commotion, was my son saw another pair of shoes shortly after which he preferred more and gave me the great pleasure of returning the ones I bought from this Finish Line store for a full refund (by the same âmanagerâ), thus they lost my business this time and certainly well into the future (but frankly, I donât think they even care).
If you donât mind atrocious customer service, horrendous poor management, churn & burn customer store setup, then go for it & good luck. But if you prefer service with integrity & intelligible customer service, go to another store - there are plenty of other way more competent shops selling the same shoes at the same price (if not, for less)..
In ending; amusingly, we saw these exact same shoes later on, at another store, in the size we wanted, all at the same lower âstickerâ price as this store..
Terrible store, terrible selection, terrible staff..

Read moreSo I walked in on October 1,2024 at approximately 7pm to buy my toddler some shoes we found Nike air forces on the wall. We tried on the 8c and the price said $55.00 on the tag inside the shoe. Multiple Air Force 1 shoes had this tag for the toddlers. White, black and pink and white ones. The shoe rang up for 70 dollars. I told him we tried the 8c on the wall thatâs on display thatâs the shoe I would like to buy the price is 55 he said no its ringing up 70.00 someone made a mistake and put the wrong tag. Moral of the store he wouldnât honor the price on the shoe. He didnât sell them to me he said I would have to buy them for 70 if I wanted them. He was the manager name Alexis. However also called his boss who was an another manager. Itâs highly disappointing that they couldnât honor the price listed and then remove the shoes and correct them prices after. Instead he decided to let a customer walk away very bothered and unhappy. The way the situation was handled was very unprofessional but the store was ran by teenagers what could one expect. He also wouldnât tell me his bosses name he said I would have to ask him himself and hesitated to say...

I couldnât believe it is this for real
If you are going to update prices wouldnât you do it before the store opens or take the socks off the shelf and tag it in the back I asked if anything else is tagged incorrectly
I left and went to the store next door Famous Footwear and got the same socks for $22 and got a second pair for half off
Very disappointed in JD Sports My son loved this store we bought all...
