Lime Light Boutique — Local services in The Villages

I have been to this store on multiple occasions. The last time was not it. A week ago my friend and I went in here. She tried on multiple things and ended up with a great pair of jeans! They fit her perfect. An elderly lady was helping us. She was a little pushy but I feel like that always happens in boutiques. We went back in today and the same lady was working. She did not remember us. My friend tried on a jacket that she wanted to order online. The store did not have her size and she wanted to confirm that it was going to fit. (The one in the store was a little big). The elderly sales associate gave us an attitude about trying on things and not purchasing them. She told us we don’t support small businesses and that’s how they go out of business. Clearly she didn’t listen because she would have purchased it in the store if they had her size..even though the identical one online was drastically cheaper. My friend quietly put the jacket back and we left. We won’t return. We always shop small businesses and to be honest, I’m not sure why a sales associate would say that to someone who has given them business many times...

Black Friday 2024. My friend and I went to the store. First, not 1 other customer there. Second, the lady sat at the desk never acknowledged us. We experienced this with many stores in this area. Explains why it was very busy. We left went to Brownwood. It was like night and day. Everyone was cordial, respectful and helpful. We will only be going to Brownwood in the future. We spent a lot of money. Business owners you need to take a look at yourselves...

This is a great store whether you’re shopping for yourself or for gifts for someone else. The sales people are friendly and knowledgeable and they carry great brands including HOBO...
