The Adventure Stadium — Local services in The Woodlands

I stopped by the shop for the first time today to take a look around. I picked up a Pokémon tin for my son, who’s an avid collector, only to find out later that I was charged more than double the typical retail price. Additionally, I found it odd that the store requires customers to sign up for some sort of membership—but only when purchasing Pokémon items. I initially thought I had discovered a great local spot, but unfortunately, I walked away feeling taken advantage of. Disappointed, and I won’t be returning.

My wife and I were in town for business and decided to check out this shop while we were in town. Upon entering the store we were amazed by the sheer volume of product and the excellent presentation. The first floor was comics, statues and a plethora of games. The second floor had gaming tables and an amazing sports section of cards and memorabilia. I bought a hobby box and a box of pages which turned out to be “top loader” pages. Didn’t realize until after opening the plastic wrap. Apparently at this store that makes all sales final. Made two trips back to the store because the employees couldn’t decide whether to assist me without talking to the manager, and the manager doesn’t answer his phone.
