Apricot Lane Boutique — Local services in The Woodlands

I always find something I love at Apricot Lane, And I always appreciate the attentiveness and assistance of their staff. I recently went in with my daughter who needed a dress to wear to a wedding in two hours - we had been to half a dozen stores with no luck (the bride was requesting everyone specific colors and we just couldn’t find anything appropriate!), and even though I don’t typically think of Apricot Lane as a store for teenagers, I suggested we swing by in the spirit of leaving no stone unturned. I told them we had a “dress emergency” and bless them, they went into action pulling every appropriate dress they could find, undressing two mannequins in the process to get us the sizes we needed, and lo and behold, they found a dress that fit her perfectly AND fit the requested dress code. This is such a great boutique and they carry very unique items. I love that there is such a cute boutique in our area. I think it is so important to support small businesses in our community. Especially when the small business has such well made quality items at a reasonable price. It’s a win win! They are constantly getting new items in so it’s always fresh and current items. They also do not carry a bunch of the same items making your purchase unique. It has a real feel of a boutique and not a department store which I love. This is a nice boutique with lots of pretty things I made a pretty significant purchase. I give the shop and the merchandise a 5. However, I was a bit irritated at the constant questions at the dressing room curtain. Seems like every few minutes was “how are you doing in there? Do you need a different size? Can I take any thing out for you? Can i take anything up to the counter for you?” While I do appreciate the help, I feel these repeated questions every few minutes was a bit much. Would I shop here again? Yes. Hopefully they’ll read the reviews and chill out at the dressing room. Just my own experience...
