So I came down to Thomaston with my friend today on 7/23/23 around 5:00 pm to go to a nearby event. Me and my friend decided not to go to the event but I had to use the restroom so I thought it would be okay to just use the restroom at the movies since it was close to where we parked. After leaving the restroom, I was greeted by this lady who seemed nice but I was on the phone and waiting for my friend to come out and leave. I told the lady thank you just so I wasn’t being rude as we were leaving. She proceeded to follow up close behind us and lock the doors to the movies! The movies was still open! Like that’s not necessary! It’s just crazy that we can’t even use the restroom without something happening. That made me feel weird and unwelcome. You guys definitely need to investigate this incident on camera, absolutely unnecessary and unacceptable. If it was an issue for tourists to use public restrooms, they can put a sign on the door and I wouldn’t come in, but there was no sign and I greeted her and she smiled and I guess put on a good poker face. Read moreWhat an amazing experience!! Very well restored theater from 1927, small and cozy, a true hometown treat! Admission is only $10, they have a full snack bar, and the seating is very comfortable. There does seem to be a slightly "shiny" spot on the movie screen itself, but it quickly becomes unnoticeable while watching the movie. Clean and comfortable, a true experience in and of itself. Read moreIts nice to see an old fashion theater. There was a slight hiccup with the playing of the movie, however, members of the audience got up on stage and sang and danced for us while the technical issues were resolved. I would highly recommend visiting this location.
