This place lacks Customer Service for real! Today my Son and I placed two separate orders using two separate cards. All of my cards are connected to my phone so when a purchase is made I either get a ping for the purchase or this latest card will give a balance. I check the balance against our orders and realized my card was charged for my Son’s order. My Son paid for his order with his card.
I first called about the discrepancy, spoke to the manager (if you can call this young lady a manager) she said come in with the receipts. My Son entered to try to resolve this. He was told to go to his bank (on a Saturday after 12 noon) to get a bank statement. Really?! Anyone who has ever dealt with banking would know no statement for your card will be ready with today’s card activity.
I returned because it’s my card that was improperly charged. My order was exactly $11.71, my Son’s order on a separate card was exactly $7.61. My card was charged exactly $7.61 over. I would think the manager would take my phone add up the two orders and subtract that from the balance I am showing her which would be EXACTLY $7.61. No!
Instead I request for her to contact the owner after going around and around with her, getting nowhere. To which she stated he’s going to tell you the same thing I have. Really?! I’m the CUSTOMER and he’s going to automatically side with you?! Okay. Call anyway.
She calls and of course says: I have an irked lady here! Wait a minute. I would not be upset if you were a professional. I wasn’t cussing you out! I was just firmly demanding my money back! At last I finally get to explain to the owner Tracy what is happening. By now I have called the police because she threatened to call the police! I said let me help you out!
He finally agreed to give me my money; however not before telling me it will be credited back to my card. It won’t be because the charge was not supposed to be there.
Here’s my issue: When did it become normal to argue with customers! When did it become normal to threaten to call the police on a customer! While attending Business Development class....which none of them have probably ever attended! I was taught CUSTOMER SERVICE. The objective is that your customers leave satisfied! I won’t be returning! I am so glad we have CHICK-FIL-A in the town that gives great customer service! I bet this would not have happened there! They are taught the objective: CUSTOMER...
Read moreTonight I went through the drive-through and ordered the country fried steak meal. I also ordered and paid for tea and a side of baked beans. The young lady at the drive-through window gave me my tea and told me it would be 15 minutes to wait for them to cook the rest. I said that that was no problem and chalked it up to probably a uncommonly ordered menu item….no worries. I parked my car, waited and 15 minutes later a young man brought my order to me. Again, no issues. My big mistake-I did not check the order before I left the restaurant. When I arrived home, I was disappointed to find out my baked beans were not included in the bag. The order ticket was stapled to the bag and had the order correct with the baked beans listed. Seems as if the baked beans were simply forgotten. The entire meal was $19 and I believe the baked beans made up about $3 of it. I figured I would chalk it up to just a bad night and just eat my food considering I live about 6 miles away and didn’t want to drive back tonight. However, a wild hair convinced me to go ahead and call the restaurant and see if they would possibly be willing to work with me, take my name and number, refund my money or just make it right. I called the number and a young girl answered the phone and said, “can you hold”. I’m not hard to please and I said of course. However, I was not actually put on hold at all. The phone will simply laid down on the counter. After about 20 seconds, I overheard the same young girl and a young man having conversations back-and-forth about the cost of divorces and about going to the mall for something. After about 2 minutes of remaining a captive audience to their convo, I changed my mind and just decided to hang up and eat the food that I was given. I have eaten big chic food before and enjoyed it. I will probably continue to go there every once in a while however it may be a minute until the next time. Hopefully somebody at the restaurant in management reads this and takes the time to be a bit more resilient with their young staff and also either reply or get in touch about making it...
