I have to say, I was extremely disappointed in the customer service skills I encountered here. If you are looking for Southern Hospitality, move on...you won't find it here. The owner (or whoever it was managing the floor on the afternoon of June 26th not only did not greet my sister and I in any way; but instead continued to stay engrossed in her own personal conversation as she sat in one of two chairs located at the front of the boutique; while her gentleman friend (husband?) sat in the other. It was truly a disappointment. She didn't even flinch when we exited to leave. Fast forward to a couple doors down at La Robe Boutique, where we greeted by the sweetest, most helpful women. As the manager of a small local business in Tallahassee, I feel as though I’d want know if my employees with brushing off customers and acting as if they couldn’t be bothered to help. My mother, baby, and I weren’t greeted upon entering.. I ask about boots for my mother and was told that what I saw was what was there.. only to turn the corner and see more. I asked about a size and as told if I didn’t see it then it was the last one. Zero help, extremely cold, and couldn’t be bothered to do her job. She lost $1000 easy in sales for her store.    Read moreMy friend and I made the trip from an hour away to look for formal gowns in Thomasville. This was our first stop, and we were immediately met with smug glances and a non-welcoming vibe by the ladies working. They had about 5 formal dresses so we asked where the best place in town was to shop for gowns. They laughed and said “here” then proceeded to say that didn’t exist in Thomasville. We actually did find a beautiful bridal shop down the street where my friend found a great dress, and I found a gorgeous Mac Duggal from Saks. I’m not sure why they felt the need to make us feel “less than” or not good enough to enter their shop that day, but I suppose the joke is on them as a different store...
