Davinci Tattoo — Local services in Titusville

After reading various recommendations for Davinci Tattoo for piercings, I decided to go by the shop to talk to them about having a piercing done. The girl at the front desk was busy with another customer but welcomed me, and others that followed in after me and told us she would be with us as soon as possible. I saw a sign that indicated piercers were only there on certain days, so after I asked about their service and availability of the piercing piece itself, I asked if I could get on the books. I was surprised when she told me I could get it done right then if I wanted, as it wasn’t a day listed as a day their piercers were there. I was happy to hear that Spike was the one going to be doing the piercing, as his name was mentioned several times with the various written recommendations I had read.

Spike greeted me up front and was chatting with me back to his piercing room. He was super sweet and very calming. I told him I had a piercing before, but had taken it out as it seemed to have never really properly healed. I opted to do the opposite side and chatted about a smaller piece once I could change it out. He made me feel comfortable and kept me informed the entire time. While I wish I could say it didn’t hurt, it did, but I knew it would, so that wasn’t unexpected. He gave me the aftercare instructions and went over them precisely with me. I really appreciated his calming nature, Kindness, and making sure I understood the process from beginning to end. I’ll be coming back (hopefully) so he can change out the piece when the time comes to put the permanent piece in.

Excellent experience start to finish. Started with tons of asking around locally & hearing good and most importantly not hearing anything negative. First phone call, meeting for deposits & drawings they were prompt, attentive & the facility is very clean, nicely decorated including a retail area in lobby with small but diverse selections of merchandise, body jewelry, clothing & decor'. Staff was friendly and had answers to all of my questions without hesitation & a smile! In this process they helped me narrow down to best options for my two pieces. I choose Kat based on my art & specific needs. Communication via text was awesome and always prompt. Always answered the phone & nice!! Day of appointment smooth sailing! I had ink added to an existing piece and I had an old piece effectively gone over. KAT is AWESOME! Did I mention the tatts are on each of my palms? No one will touch that! I needed help in 2 rough spots with fully disclosed risk & let me tell you KAT NAILED IT! She really helped me! I love my tatts again & it feels AWESOME!! I will be going back! Zero stars. TLDR: I wish I had never visited this establishment. I am amending my former 5 star review. I got my ears pierced on a Tuesday. They were very cute. On Sunday night, my earlobe swelled so much that by Monday morning the earring was embedded in my ear. The shop was closed, so I went to a different shop where they told me the post was too short (it was 5/16" or 8mm. They said ears should have been pierced with 12mm) They sent me to Urgent Care. Urgent Care could not retrieve the front part of the earring and sent me to an Emergency Room. At the ER, they used a scalpel to cut into the front of my earlobe and long thin tweezers to pull out the earring. They advised me to make an appointment with an Ear Specialist because if the cartilage becomes infected from all of this, I may lose part of my earlobe. I went back the next day to get a refund from the shop. The owner gave me less than what I originally paid for the piercing, offered no apologies and acted like that cash was doing me a favor. I'm out the original cost of the piercing, $150 for Urgent Care facility, I don' t know yet how much for the Emergency Room, and I still have to book...
