Hello. I tried to share this review directly with Subway HQ but they require a store number in order to submit feedback. I never got a receipt because I was insulted before I ever ordered. So I will leave this review here in public. Buyer beware...
Today I was shopping and decided to take home a Subway Sub from this store location: Address: 2851 Garden St, Titusville, FL 32796.
There was a nice young man wearing a mask. He said, "I will be with you in a minute"
I said, "take your time"
An older man, without a mask asked what he could get for me. I said, "can I use this coupon here?" I showed him the coupon my my cell phone that I had found. I could not see it clearly, as I didn't have my glasses on.
He gruffly barks, "show it to him" and as I walk over to the young man to show him... the rude older man said loudly, "SHE WANTS A FREE SUB!"
Excuse me?! The coupon I tried to show him was for a $5.99 Footlong.
How DARE he be SO RUDE!
As the young man he was looking at the coupon, I turned to the rude man with no mask and said, "That was RUDE"
He said (with attitude and mockery) "I wasn't TRYING to be rude"
I said, "but you ARE rude and I no longer feel like eating here today" and I left.
I posted it on social media and now I am leaving this Google Review.
I am really shocked that that man would be SO rude. I am a 56 year old woman and I was extremely nice to them both. He is just a rude man who doesn't care about anyone or he would treat customers with respect and also wear a mask while making and preparing food like the other young man did.
That's a man who should not be working with the public and surely not...
Read moreForget this Subway if you are looking for delivery via GrubHub (-- go to the other Subway at 1321 S.Washington instead.) This Garden St. location has yet to be able to complete a delivery order for me, and I tried twice. Four months ago, I tried to order for delivery via the GrubHub app. (BTW, GrubHub was excellent here, and it made up for Subway's shortcomings.) I placed a pre-order for the following day on the GrubHub app. Subway CONFIRMED my order and delivery time. As my order was supposedly being prepared, Subway CONFIRMED this too. As my order was LEAVING the Subway location with the designated driver, this was also CONFIRMED. 20 minutes after due time, Subway coldly messaged me that "MY ORDER HAS BEEN CANCELLED!" This, after lying about the order for over 12 hours! Before I could get mad, my GrubHub driver called to tell me about the fiasco at this Subway. This location wasn't hooked up on the website properly, but they charged my cc! My GrubHub driver was excellent. I called GrubHub, and within MINUTES my money was refunded via GrubHub. Willing to give this location a second chance, I called the location on the phone first to make sure their online problem was rectified, and the guy I spoke with was rude and not sure, but said something to the effect of "I guess so, but I don't know" and hung up on me. Not a place I would ever order from again especially since Titusville has a second location which is great. But, not this Subway location on...
Read moreIt's Subway. Don't waste your money eating here unless you're incentivized by generous coupons. There are way better options for the same exact price. Mr.Submarine's, Publix, Heroes, anywhere other than Subway.
Subway's primary objective while making a sub, and this applies to almost every location, is to give you as little as possible of everything. To be as skimpy as possible with meager portions of everything.
I visited this location this past week and had a coupon for 3 foot long subs for $17.99, excluding a few of the meatier subs. Every topping I selected was applied to the sub in as small of a portion as humanly possible. No one that has ever eaten or made a sub before would naturally make a sub the way Subway employees do. It's company policy. I've been to Subways all over the state of Florida and they're almost uniformly the same, very stingy with the toppings.
I don't have the patience or the time to ask for more, twice, for every topping on 3 subs. The experience isn't enjoyable. If I hadn't used a coupon, and paid over $30 for these pitifully small subs, I'd of been very upset. For the price I paid, I'd still probably not come back. Right across the road, there's Publix. Go and get a Boar's Head sub that's absolutely loaded eith everything for the...
