Always had a nice experience here , I collect games for myself and also resell to help my collection, as I canât afford to buy games at cost. I always have bought personal clothes from here as well , and Iâm ok with thrift stores running retail/boutique pricing if it befits the community or even just the business owner, it all comes back full circle.
Even reselling clothing is a form of recycling as it helps to keep hundreds of thousands of pounds of clothing from ending up in burn pits or landfills. So whatever get yours.
However,
5/20/2025 10:30ish am I saw a box of games in the store, looked like decent ones, but the manager said it was promised to someone else, wouldnât budge which is fine. I mentioned she never held anything for me when I asked, or any categories like vintage , but ok no sweat.
There was a man appraising jewelry at the counter to which I replied âoh thatâs the jewelry guy coolâ I asked the man if he found anything good , and he said âonly some sterlingâ
Then after the owner denied my offers for the box because she had promised it to two people, she offered for me to come by past 11 am , if the price person didnât come by or if anything was there they didnât want on the racks it would be available.
I came by at 12, to which the jewelry guy became the video game expert , I said âwow I didnât know that was you, if I didnât I wouldnât have came back and tried to step on your toes, my badâ
Gentlemenâs whole demeanor changed after I said ,â oh hey man you gotta shine a light through that copy of soul silver, to check if itâs see throughâ
âIâve been doing this 20 years heart gold is see thru soul silver isnât, you donât know what youâre talking aboutâ
The guy looks like he got out of prison and made an album with Florida rappers who had face tats, guy looks like 1863 rugrat. Full sleeves full neck sleeve? I couldnât see skin on the manâs neck just ink, but sure enough he was bald. Definitely not the same as someone from the country club wearing polo a slacks trying to play the intimidation card, it wasnât a good feeling.
Then he proceeded to say some other rude remarks and talk down to me, thatâs when I told him âwell youâve been doing this wrong 20 years, and mightâve sold someone something fakeâ
I left and never felt treated so poorly in this store, I wouldâve never came back with more money if I had known this man was going to purchase the box already, I was under the assumption it was to be priced then sold.
Obviously it was promised to two different people already, if the person pricing it was buying it , and she lied about it being someone else.
I called her thinking it was just a mistake and she had no idea and after seeing how many games there were on the counter I wanted to alert her to the potential value (up into the thousands , and I wouldâve paid half) ( I wasnât allowed to even look closely at the box at my prior visit and guy nehind the counter said there was only a Pokemon puzzle not black ).
I also wanted to make sure the guy who looked like American history x was going to be nice and fair to someone else if he wasnât to me (why would I think someone whose that ignorant, pompous, and arragont is honest?) to which she proceeded to tell me âI know this â â you wont let me talkâ âI never said that Iâll pull up the camerasâ
she became intolerant on the telephone and kept cutting me off while asking me âhow do you want to proceed, well I was there to verify that, well Iâll just check the cameras to see if you said that or if I said thatâ
I even apologized about 6 times as I usually love the store and have a good experience , I mainly buy clothing not even games here but I have bought a ps4 and other things on many an occasion.
I could also already tell by the tone of her voice and the consistent fact she would not listen to my complaint , and literally allowed someone to treat me like an idiot when they were blatantly wrong sheâs going to try and rebuttal this, with more lies.
Iâll never give this place my business again. Iâll be contacting the...
Read moreGoing up to Titusville for a doctor appointment and in search of new thrift stores, my mother and I went searching. We found a place called "Hope for North Brevard." We went into the store, which was nicely laid out. Browsing around, I found some patterns to buy even if they were expensive and overpriced by $1 or more, when all of a sudden I went from 0 to 99% in need of a bathroom. I searched throughout the store, cramping severely, when I ended up by the front register where 2 employees were standing about and asked both for the restroom. They each said that they didn't have one for the public but that they were "willing" to hold onto my items while I went down the street to Publix. There was no way that I could do that. They said that I could talk to the manager. The manager was outside on the phone needing back into the store. When she arrived, I explained my situation and even presented a Disability Card which also explained my situation. She didn't care. She stated that they just spent $10,000 in getting it refurbished and that they wouldn't/couldn't do that. I explained that I understood that some people could destroy a bathroom, but this situation was different. I needed the bathroom desperately, and They could inspect the bathroom before and after I was finished, and if they saw any problems whatsoever, i would pay for it. Still no. I was close to "losing" it and told her so when she, the manager, told me to leave. I expressed my anger and frustration. I will be following this up with the American Disability Act and also search for the church that they service. I will never, ever visit this store again, and I will continue to tell anyone and everyone about this situation and how I was treated. And I hope that if you do visit this store , you don't have an emergency where you...
Read moreI went to the store to look for some things as I was looking and browsing I had came across a Caucasian woman and I was talking to as we were looking I got a little further in the store while we were holding a conversation. The store owner with the glasses asked me and the female that I was talking to were we together, we told her no we are just holding a conversation.
she then points at me and asked what are you looking for? I told her I was looking for electronics and a little bit of everything I don't know yet. So then when I went into the other side of the store and where the clothes section talking to the same individual, the owner told me it's time for you to go. I said what did I do she said it's just time for you to go. Mind you I just literally stepped into that store less than 5 minutes. The owner didn't even have a solid reason for kicking me out at all. The lady wasn't bothered of any kind while we were browsing and having a conversation, I didn't do anything illegal inside the establishment for me to get kicked out.
Finally, for future references to the owner. You can't kick someone out under any of the protected characteristics(which I'm pretty sure you know them) or going out on a whim of any kind including calling the cops to kick customers out you're store (I'm just saying)...
