I was just screamed at by an old grumpy male customer buying a few dollars of produce here. I purchased over $35 here. They never ring me up fast. This customer was allowed to tell me to hurry up, shut my big mouth, I had a big mouth, I had no brains....one insult after another. My children were with me. The second cashier rung up other customers instead of backing this guy away from me who was proud he was rude to me and wasn't going to move to the other line, apologize or leave me alone. My 13 year old daughter was in the middle of this. We didnt feel safe to exit to parking lot since he was so aggressive towards us. No one at this place can ring us up in less than 5 minutes. They should have refused service to him. I am disabled and need. Access to produce and fresh herbs. However, I called the owner and she didnt seem to care. This man was in a big huge truck and floored it out of the parking lot. He could have injured a child. And its because I am a mom buying $35 of produce. I can't help it the cashiers don't know what I'm buying. I can't go shop somewhere that will allow violence like this. I didn't deserve to stand there alone and be verbally abused in front of my children. Its an outside...
Read moreI used to shop here before this market was called "Erb's Produce". I had always preferred to shop here and had a great visit EVERY TIME. This week was my first time going back since the name change and I can tell you now I will not be back. The older lady who checked me out was completely rude. First, she didn't greet us or smile - just took our items quickly like we were causing her problems. We only had a few things. I said thank you to her 3 different times (louder each time thinking she couldn't hear me) and she wouldn't even look at me. I know she heard me. When we went to pay she snatched our card. The only thing she said to us was our total and didn't look at us the whole experience. I felt very unwelcome. I will not be back solely because of this experience. Sad because I really...
Read moreOpen air produce market with a wide variety of fruits & vegetables, & local products such as honey & coffee. I've been trying to make an effort to shop more locally, & if that's something up your alley, this place should be on your list.
I decided to leave a review today not just because of the product, but because of the staff. While shopping earlier I witnessed several employees help a woman who said she was new to the area & wasn't as experienced in local produce select ingredients for something she was making. One of them saw another customer & remembered them from a previous visit, asking how they enjoyed something they bought last time. You don't get that at the big chain stores. It was something small but much...
