Broke again on September 16th 2024. Paid to have fixed (again) August 26th. Dropped off end of June. I called at one point at the end of July to find out what was going on and the sweet lady told me "he's looking for some of the stones to match so he can replace those that fell out of it".... After a month of continuing to wait- called again mid-August and was told it'd be ready at 10am the next day, went at 12:45 and "it isn't ready still ... Give me 15 more minutes-its in the cleaner"... 15 minutes it still wasn't ready... The bigger guy that's always outside smoking had it in the back doing something with it still-not in the cleaner. When received finally it still had two tiny cracks and was disgusting looking because it was not buffed after the cleaner (whatever, buffed it myself... That's fine), but I gave the benefit of the doubt because I don't know anything about repairing jewelry- "maybe that's just how it's suppose to look?" Stupid me. I'm really upset since we have spent so much money at this jewelry store, purchased necklaces, bracelets, rings and not to mention all the repairs that we've paid for as well . Read moreAs a general rule I don't leave unsatisfactory reviews because I believe everybody deserves a second chance. This is Gold Crafts THIRD. Earlier this year I took my husbands watch in for a new stem. It took 3 months to get it back. I did ask upon picking it up and it was extraordinarily slow getting the part because of Covid....O.K., I took my watch in a few months later for a new movement and stem as it is old (about 30 yrs) but very special to me.. It took 3 months. Within 48 hours the watch lost 7 hours, I took it back. The repairman said it was probably something simple like the hands were touching to slow it down. I asked him if it would take long because he had had it for 3 months. He said no, he would look at it in a couple days. Its been 6 weeks or more now and Not only do I not have my watch, I haven't even gotten a phone call from these people. Worst service I've ever gotten on anything, I hope one day I will see my watch again, I do not recommend their repair service. Nice...
Read moreSorry to say I thought this was an honorable place however.... After multiple issues... Including rings that were set with my personal stones fell out after one day. When I finally found the stones and took iboth back to be re-set...mysteriously both broke up (Really!,) both were replaced substitute stones. One stone was very valuable and approximately 30 years old... I guess I didn't learn my lesson the first time I went back the second time same issue different ring. Shame shame shame.
