I had originally picked out a 2010 red Ford Focus that was beautiful with no problems.
Once the time came for me to get my hard plates- I had to trade in the car for a 2010 blue Ford Focus; that I had to spend THOUSANDS of dollars on repairs on; because the previous owner of the red car didnāt give Macks Auto the needed paperwork (title).
It also had a hanging bumper and it was freshly painted but as time passed the rust and other damage that had been painted over started revealing itself.
The seats were also badly stained when the car was first given to me with what appeared to be old blood from a previous accident.
I personally had to wipe blood off of the light and the drivers side of the car (inside) when I got it.
I donāt even know where to start with everything that I had to replace and repair on this car⦠smh. Spark plugs⦠Engine parts⦠Belts⦠No A/C etc etc. Yes I have my receipts.
Yesterday while driving my car on the eway it randomly started running hot. On the busy, backed up eway⦠smh.
I donāt know if this car is repairable but I feel like I should be given a replacement or a refund because I treated that car with the utmost respect and care and for it to break down repeatedly shortly after purchasing it and then shortly after paying it off is so unfair.
Lifeās not fair⦠I knowā¦
If it was my original purchase (the red Ford Focus) though- then I would be like⦠āWell maybe I shouldāve test driven it longer than 15 minutesā¦ā Macks Auto recommended this blue Focus to me though AND made me pay an additional $1,000 for it.
Also⦠if your car ever needs to be repaired; do not let them attempt to repair anything- take it to a real repair shop so you can save money and time.
The worst parts about this⦠the car that Macks Auto reassured me that would be a great car turned out to be a lemon. Iāve taken it to AutoZone, Midas, A transmission repair shop, FORD, Garys Automotive and three other repair shops that I have receipts for and now that Iāve reached the end with this car that I RARELY droveā¦
Iāve realized that I was a fool for trusting them.
Iām most likely...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have paid off two cars with them. Iām not gonna lie, both cars were sound and quality investments. Well, after 3 years we lost the first car we got from here. So, we decided to come back. I purchased a 2013 Ford Explorer. I didnāt even have it long enough to need an oil change. I got a ālow engine oil pressureā on my dash suddenly and my car stalled. They picked up the car, supposedly fixed the issue, I paid $500 for this fix. Didnāt even have the car a week and it happened AGAIN. Itās been almost a month since they got the car, and I havenāt heard a word. This is after my husband informed them we wouldnāt be paying for the repair again since it wasnāt even fixed the first time. I feel so heartbroken over this entire experience. We were supposedly āfamilyā but since this is how they treat family: we will not be returning and I highly encourage for anyone looking into going here to consider if this is how they treat āfamilyā how would...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy neighbors down the road told me to come here. Said they have never had an issue. I went to another but here dealership in the morning before coming here...that was a big mistake. Should have just listened to my neighbors right off the bat. Moe and the other office peeps were fantastic! I told them what type of payment I was looking for and how much I had to put down and he hooked me up! Very satisfied with everything! Everyone was genuine and very down to earth. Best of all I was able to get into my first SUV, Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring, which is something that I've always wanted but never able to get into with the big dealerships and my payments are low and car will be paid off in 48.5 months instead of being locked into a used car loan for 72 months! I've already told other friends of mine about this...
