Dorr Street Cafe — Restaurant in Toledo

First off it took some time to be seated(over 10mins)... 5patrons at the bar, 3tables utilized inside, bar 5patrons, 4 tables and a bench utilized on the patio. Once asked to be seated, lady informs of our waitress who after 10 more minutes still has not even taken drink order or come to table. The lady comes back after seeing us stand up looking around stating "waitress Lil busy at time she will get our drinks, and gave us a menu... Fast forward, waitress funnily appears take appetizer order and is gone for over 15mins comes and takes our order when she brings out the appetizer which was only fried pickles for me and guest had French onion soup(which both our their features items)... Appetizers finished, drinks finished, still no food. Our food comes, I will say that it was hot, looked presentable, and fries were extra crispy as requested. We now need boxes, refills, etc and waitress no where to be found. I look behind and there is a drink stand which I refilled our drinks and obtained to go boxes, then she appears asking can she help... "bring the check, we are ready to go!" why did this take another 12 minutes? Bring check(patty melt, fries, 1800 silver= $34.72. Beef Philly, fries, pepsi=$22.19). That didn't seem right to me... Waitress states sandwiches come with chips only fries extra, OK ...but, still bit much for what was ordered. We had to tell her to come right back with our cards and not to stray, we are ready to go, what do u know still took over 8minutes to bring them back... Food decent, but over priced... Service too slow and unattentive!!! Won't be on my list of greats/choices, nor will they see me any time soon unless someone else requests...Definitely not the place I used to frequent neither great customer service, food, ...

My family had a VERY DISRESPECTFUL, VERBALLY ABUSIVE, and EXTREMELY OBESE WAITRESS named Minnie (which she is def not). She used EXCESSIVE PROFANITY at one at one of my family members and THREATENED HIM. I called and talked to the owner who was a complete IDIOT. He should have FIRED her for her disgusting behavior but did nothing. I guess the customer isn't cared about OR respected there. He must not mind that the waitress is giving FREE drinks and FREE food all the time to a lot of other customers ON HIS DIME. SHAMEFUL BEHAVIOR from the disgusting obese waitress and the moronic owner.

ZERO STARS......stay far away from this place!!!!!! Now I know why they were closed for so long (due to cockroaches and other violations), and they've had so many health violations for many years. Ck the HEALTH INSPECTION REPORTS BEFORE...

I've been here multiple times, but the service just keeps getting worse. I went there yesterday and the service was probably one of the worst experiences I've had. We walked in and all the empty tables were dirty so we had to sit at a dirty table for at least 10 to 15 minutes before the waitress came over to clean it and ask if we had been helped. Kept getting the excuse that they had a big party (it was a party of about 10 people) and that the other girl was new. Sorry...not an excuse. Everything took forever. The food took FOREVER and all we ordered was soup and sandwiches. It was just a terrible experience and I thought I'd give it one last try since I hadn't had good service there before, although not this bad. Only reason I kept going was cause it is right around the corner from me, but that is the last...
