This Target has gone through a major remodel recently. Grocery has expanded greatly along with the Beauty section & Electronics. They have removed the old, outdated "Cafe" & have added fridges for quick stop items like juices, waters, ect along with chips and snack like items. They have also added slushie machines! Overall the store is looking better than ever so I changed my review, however employee morale is quite the same. Huge difference in attitudes between this location and Monroe St. Wish management would care more..
1 year old review: still the same, only go here when I can't go to the Monroe St. Location. Went it yesterday around 5-6pm and an employee left a huge liquid spill in the middle of the main aisle, unattended, for atleast 15 min. They threw absorb powder on it and thought that was enough to leave it unattended. Another employee was walking around the store casually conversing on her cellphone. She wasn't talking to or helping a guest because 1. It was her personal phone not a zebra device. 2. She was still talking when we left 20 mins later.. & Yes she had a name tag on with a walkie turned on so it didn't seem like she was on break. I was never asked if I needed help & have never been asked on previous visits. The young kid at the electronics boat was leaning over it, on his phone (not a zebra) doing nothing. When I came back around 5 mins later for a Switch game I forgot, he was still doing the same thing. In my original review from two years ago below, during Black Friday they did the same thing in electronics. Nothing. The difference between the service at this location and the Monroe location is night and day. 2 stars.
3 year old review: Sad to say, but the guest service here is absolutely awful.. employees don't smile or ask you if you need help. They walk around looking at the floor or look away from you when you make eye contact, especially over in cosmetics. I work retail, I understand during Black Friday it can get crazy busy. But if you're in electronics with a device just standing around doing nothing but watching, you are not doing your job. You should be walking around in your dept. asking people if they need help, restocking, or zoning your aisles.. This isn't Walmart and you're not on break lol, Target prides themselves on guest services and this location just doesn't care at...
Read moreI shop at this Target from time to time since closer to house. No real issues and people seem friendly enough, but don't have much interaction until check out and then pleasant enough, some more than others. Today was the first time I actuall had an issue. I was dumb and left some pop in the under part of my cart trying to hustle daughter into car. Got home, less then 10 min, thought probably gone, but never know so I called. Transferred to Customer Service only to be told we don't have anyone that can go out there and look, there are no cart people right now and it's probably gone already. She kept talking and then changed to all the carts were brought in a few minutes ago and nothing turned in, someone probably already grabbed it. All I could reply was okay. Really? I mean I know it's only a few bucks, but a few bucks is a few bucks and didn't even take number just in case showed up, nothing. I should have asked if I really was talking to Customer Service. It wasn't the fact that it was gone, could be, but it was the total lack of concern not only in the words and the pessimistic attitude that someone already got it, and the change from we don't have anyone to go look to carts were just brought in, sounded unbelievable with the attitude. Everyone has choices and I guess since now I know the attitude towards customers I have a choice to go elsewhere for my shopping so IF I do have a problem I hope it would be better satisfied elsewhere. Shocked Target,...
Read moreSince they remodeled this store, I hate it. They have far fewer items than before the remodel and fewer items than the other local stores (also remodeled). This one also seems to have misleading signage. I last visited two and a half months ago. That time the idiot ringing out my order, lost my entire order that he had just rung up. That was after 45 minute wait. I had to wait at the service desk, for two more people, to ring me out. That is when I found items signed for $5 were actually 2/$10 despite the sign, not saying so. It also didn't say you had to buy two of the same flavor to get the sale. I did go back to check the subs the next day. They only said they were $5. This time the bagged cat treats have signs, ON Them) saying that if you buy two, you get a $5 gift card. Found out at the check outs that is for a different product. They refused to honor it nor say it would be corrected. The prices on many things have gone up quite a bit so Walmart it is. The selection of make up and health care, staple types, have gone down so much that I can't justify shopping here like I used to. Carts are quite tall. Sister in law can't use them because they are too...
