So I got to the restaurant at 8pm ready to eat , I try many different kind of sushi and noticed it had been sitting out for a while and wasn't exactly sushi standards . I tried the sushi rolls not the ones with the raw fish because like I said it had been sitting out so long it was turning colors , it wasn't great or even good it was edible sad to say . Then the waitress comes up and takes our soy sauce and I stopped her and told her I needed that she said I have to take it we clean them every Friday and switch the soy sauce . How's that for service?! Lol no restaurant has ever done this to me I mean come on in was eating when she did this not to mention sweeping the floors while I'm eating so all that dust went up in the air smh . So I go look around the buffet and noticed ALL THE food was left out for a LONG LONG TIME but as a food critic I tried anyway , That was a mistake ! The soup was HORRIBLE and had a film on the top of it showing how stale it was and definitely letting me know it has been left out and not changed in a while !!! The taste was putrid and sour so I put that aside I was so disgusted, then I go try other food craw fish , shrimp and squid , etc ALL STALE !!!! Now correct me if I'm wrong but your supposed to change the food for fresh food regardless the time because PEOPLE are eating these things YOUR restaurant has been just leaving out for hours !! I can say I will NEVER eat in this restaurant again , I don't see this restaurant being open much longer if they keep up this kind of work ! I was truly Disgusted ! I really wanted to like it because I love Asian food but it was beyond horrible I'm sorry , I can't see myself or anyone that I know ever eating here again only if they Change their LAZY ways and Learn how to treat customers and also Learn to not spray and sweep when a customer is eating that's just plain rude and distasteful on your...

Ocean Garden Buffet offers a delightful dining experience that transcends the typical buffet expectations. The moment you step inside, you're enveloped in a serene ambiance, reminiscent of a tranquil Chinese garden. Soft, soothing music plays in the background, creating a peaceful atmosphere perfect for a leisurely meal. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive. The hostess promptly seated us, and our server efficiently took our drink orders, delivering them promptly along with extra napkins, a thoughtful touch. The buffet itself is a culinary journey. The sheer variety of dishes is impressive, ranging from familiar favorites like pizza and fried chicken to exotic delicacies like octopus and fried frog legs. The food is consistently fresh and piping hot, ensuring a satisfying meal. The hibachi and sushi bar add an extra layer of excitement, offering freshly prepared dishes right before your eyes. Whether you're a seasoned foodie or a casual diner, Ocean Garden Buffet has something for everyone. The diverse menu caters to all tastes, making it an ideal choice for family gatherings or group outings. In conclusion, Ocean Garden Buffet is a standout Chinese buffet in Toledo. With its inviting atmosphere, friendly staff, and delectable food, it's a place where you can indulge your senses and savor a memorable...

The 5* is based on "category" and competition in the Toledo area. For the hour we were there, no one used the hibachi grill. The selection is slightly different from, and I believe slightly more than the Hong Kong Buffet, to my knowledge its most similar area competitor. Differences we noted: Hong Kong serves alcohol (OG, no). Hong Kong: Has peanut chicken. Has sesame seed-coated peanuts as a dessert option. Staff doesn't smile as much, less friendly, not a biggie. Ocean Garden: Has peel-and-eat shrimp, baked salmon (HK neither, I believe), maybe a few more tossed salad options (not sure), powdered sugar-coated peanuts as a dessert option. Both about same price. Won't go hungry at either, probably individual preference is going for a certain dish that one may have that the other doesn't. We are not close to either, new to both with competitors closing after COVID, prefer Ocean, even though it is a little farther drive. Second visit addition: selection varies slightly week to week. Decor pics added. Decor definitely above that for "average" low-price buffet. Still have not seen...

My sister and I went here after going to Erie orchards in September. We liked it so much that we made the trip again (from Detroit) just to have the buffet. The place is impeccably clean, the food is hot and fresh, and the stir fry was not too salty. In addition, they have nigiri, which is incredibly rare for a Chinese buffet. The nigiri is what brought me back. I'm so impressed and I have no idea how they're staying in business with such great food variety and low prices. If you come here and you like spicy food, try the chili oil that's at the salad buffet. Couple that with stir fry, shrimp and fried rice - amazing!

Pretty good! We went out here on a Sunday evening and it wasn't super busy. The Buffett consists of primarily Chinese and Japanese cuisine with options for American food. It was about $10.00 a person to eat the all you can eat Buffett. The service was awesome! Everyone was extremely polite. They have a hibachi option as well. The tables are pretty private with intricate dividers between the tables. There is a dessert bar, a salad bar, a sushi bar, a hibachi bar, and others. The only thing that was a downside was all the food was a bit cold. Not a big deal, but notable. We are definitely stuffed.

Place has a few issues, over cooked food is the most , but with that said, if you like salty Chinese food wich I do, then you will not be disappointed, the real downside is the $14.00 you'll spend to eat here. On another note, whoever owns the shopping plaza is a poor company, to get to any buisness in the plaza you have to step through the gutter, the place is a real toilet bowl, to bad the restaurant is located here, right out there door is trash as far as you can see!
