It's the night of the NFC championship Lions vs. 49ers. The store is completely empty. Only my table (me +1) and another table of 2 and we were there for an hour and a half total (not by choice). Was my first time here and asked if we wanted pretzels for Appetizers, and i said no well have the onion rings. (Sent us pretzels instead) we ordered dessert first, then our entree. They said they prepared the wings first thing in the morning, but it tasted like they were frozen, then emeditley fried and dumped in Bubba rays, and the smash burger was incredibly dry. We waited over 30 min for our food for it to be mediocre. Only stopped by once to refill drinks when our cups were half empty before our food arrived. When I said we were finished, it took her 20 minutes to get us our check. Only to find out she rang us up for 4 drinks and the wing special that was told a different price was not what matched the receipt. She had to go get the owner to correct our bill, which took another 15 min. When they were finally ready to let me pay, I said I'm using tap pay (Google), and she tried it for a good 5 min couldn't get it to work gave me phone back and said one second I know Apple pay idk about Google pay. I said it's the same thing it's just tap pay. Then, she went to wait the other table and took another 10 min for her to come back and say let's try again Only for me to say, let me try it, and it worked fine.
The only thing good about this place is the cleanness the service was bad, and the food was not worth the price at all for me, and my +1 it was $70. Will not be...
Read moreAmazing is the perfect way to describe Brickhouse. After taking 3 hours to decide what to eat for dinner, my mom and I picked to come here. Pulling in, the restaurant does seem closed due to how the windows are blacked out, but I like it personally. We were seated quickly at a booth and Kate was our waitress. She was very sweet and attentive our entire dining experience. After looking over the menu, my mom picked fish and chips with a salad and veggies (green beans), and I did a breakfast burger, add jalapeños, with Cajun fries. The food came out quickly, and everything was piping hot!! Our food was perfect. We couldn’t believe how good everything was!! The fries were spicy, the fish was fresh and had a good crunch, the burger was life changing, and the green beans were perfectly seasoned. It’s hard to find good green beans in a restaurant, but this place knocked it out of the park. We did wings to go, and they were so good!! They should focus on plucking the feathers better because almost all of the wings had feathers on them. 10/10 for everything, from service, to the food, and to the atmosphere. It was quiet and clean inside. I will most definitely be back, and I wish this restaurant nothing...
Read moreI could be wrong but I think there may be a little bit of an identity problem or targeted marketing for this fine establishment. I have been there twice and both times I was about one of eight people and a rather large restaurant. Perhaps I am mistaken that I did not know for the first 9 months that I lived on the same street of this restaurant that it was a restaurant. I ran this by some others and they also did not know so it's not just me. Maybe it's a signage out front but it appears that it's more of a tavern, maybe that's what they're going for. But I think the small crowds as well as during the evening I have never seen the parking lot packed is indicative that they have an image problem and I want to help them and support them in this review by telling everybody give this wonderful place a great chance. The food is fabulous the service is some of the finest in the city both times I have been there. Today Allison was my server who made recommendations, timely refills, checking on me to make sure I was having an enjoyable time. I am very enthusiastic about this place and I hope people find it discover it or if you already know of it and continue...
