Great prices! We buy our beer supplies, grain, dog treats, and other miscellaneous items, such as molasses. The store is dog friendly and the employees will often have their own pets in the store. They are always kind and helpful. On many occasions, they have carried out the large bags of grain (I buy it for making dog food a well as beer) and load it in to the truck for me. The store is easy to pass by, because the sign is a little dull. There is parking on the street in front of the store and a small parking lot behind it. I just returned from this place, and although it wasn't my first time there, I felt the need to write a review today. Every ... single ... time I come looking for help, I leave not only with the products I need, but also some helpful tips to make my project a success! This place has been open since the late 1800s and the knowledgeable staff is unsurpassed! They patiently answer my questions, make recommendations, but never, ever push their products like so many others. At a time when I have lost confidence in salesmen and contractors in general, Titgmeier continues to come through for me. My husband has sworn by this place for his "special" blend grass seed. They totally changed their blend yet still want top and I mean top dollar. Also dog food I buy from tractor supply (as I can not be bought in local stores or pet stores) almost 5 dollars more a bag. I'm all for supporting local businesses but not at these prices.
