Burger King — Restaurant in Vernon

Just witnessed one of the most disgusting exchanges between your cooking staff in front of everyone. One of the dudes accidentally burnt one of the the staff managers I believe with fries I’m not sure. This was during an entire 5 minutes of the cook yapping about going to get fired today. Then after burning the front staff person he cook proceeded to say “oh now I’m really going to get fired “. The girl cook next to him joked to him that he probably did it on purpose because he is “homophobic” this was said out loud and in front of customers.

Disgusting, the people in the back cooking seem like they don’t want to be there unprofessional negative and bad examples. The people at cashier and the front were focused on working.

If the two cooks in the back would stop talking about negative stuff like it’s a joke perhaps these mistakes wouldn’t happen.

That dude shouldn’t get fired, he should quit if those homophobic remarks are true. And they need to stop talking a mess...

For a fast food restaurant, this is a top notch burger king. It has Parking for buses, but don't let that discourage you though. Because they get a lot of travelers as customers, the food is always Freshly prepared because turnover is out of this world. Fries are hot out of the fryer, burgers still juicy hot and they actually put more then one slice of bacon on your burgers. Never had a bad, microwaved, anything from this fast food establishment. Staff always courteous and I would give them a 4 out of 5 for cleanliness. If your in the mood for fast food, and don't want soggy fries and a microwave burger, head over to this bk right off rt 84, exit 67. Funny enough McDonald's is across the street. Not as fresh as bk. While travelling to Connecticut on a Saturday. I stopped in for a quick burger. The store itself was quite busy and there was a line waiting to order. The delay was a result of several bus companies (Mega Bus and the like) using this location as a rest stop and lunch layover for the drivers.

As a result of the heavy traffic, the employees were not only struggling to stay ahead of demand, but the restrooms and dining room area were also heavily used and showed it.

Trash, debris and food particles were evident.

Granted, once the various buses departed with their passengers, the staff did a fair job addressing the mess left behind. Just be aware that this is a very high traffic location and waits may be longer than you would expect or even tolerate if you're a...
