I would like to start by saying Tyler, who originally helped me with this purchase, is a rockstar. This review does not reflect his service at all.
However, the employee we encountered today is a completely different story. Instead, after 3 days of issues on their end including giving me an Apple Watch with someone else’s info on it that had to be exchanged, we arrived to the store 20 minutes after opening to find the store lit up but the door locked. When the employee arrived 15 minute later he was immediately combative. When we asked what time they open his response was, “When we work an 8 hour shift we are entitled to a half hour break!” For reference it is Sunday and they are only open 6 hours. When he decided to address the issue we came in for (the second replacement Watch also appeared to be a return that had a scratched screen) he said he would have to charge a $75 restocking fee to swap it out. We asked to speak to the manager to get that waived since it is not our mistake but he said we would have to come back a 4th time. When I said that was unacceptable his response was, “There are much worse things going on in the world than you having to come back.” My husband asked for the managers card and he said, “I’ll do you one better, I’ll call the police.” Truly insane. A great example of the opposite of good...
Read moreWhoever the guy that was working on January 3rd mid afternoon and 5th afternoon is beyond rude. The first time I came in with a problem with my phone and he was really cold to me and I just ignored it. After my problem coming back because he did nothing to fix my phone I decide to call the Verizon toll number instead. After two days of my phone not working I was told to go back to the Verizon store to get a SIM card and that I didn’t have to pay for anything. When I arrived at the store the guy once again was cold he didn’t even ask me for my name or number he just went to the back of the store got the SIM card and then told me that I had to pay for the SIM card. I explained to him that I was told to come to the store and he said he can’t do anything about it because he has to charge me, yet when I was first there and he was about to change my SIM card he not once tell me that the SIM card had a charge to it. Will never be going back to that place and I will also make sure to talk to the Verizon toll free number to tell them about him. And I’ll make sure tomorrow I will call and talk to a manager. I don’t understand how someone working in customer service...
Read moreLong story short - if your phone is broken and you need a repair or have a Verizon service issue - do not go here. Find a repair store. These folks are in retail sales, they will damage your phone if you bring it here for a physical repair. They are also not the actual Verizon company, they are an authorized retailer for Verizon products, meaning they are not experts on Verizon service. If you need Verizon service help - go directly to Verizon. If you need a phone hardware repair, go to a local repair shop there are lots of good ones around here now. If you just need to simply purchase a new phone or accessories, than this place is perfect for that. Just don't come here with fixable device issues, the best they can do is talk you into buying another product. They...
