American Bagel and Creamery — Restaurant in Tolland

I don't normally make reviews but couldn't look past this. First I asked for an orange pineapple ice cream on a sugar cone, she asked me 3 times for the name of it. She told me to hang on and came back and said they didn't have it. Next I asked for a small chocolate chip on a sugar cone. She then pulled out a cake cone and I thought, ok whatever. She comes back with a chocolate ice cream. I said, no I wanted chocolate chip, I tell her it is usually vanilla ice cream with chocolate chips. She got another cake cone and went to ask for help. The guy comes over with a giant mouthful of food, Chewing with his mouth open! He asks me what kind, I say chocolate chip on a sugar cone, he grabs another cake cone and points to which ice cream I supposedly want. She walks back over with Cookies and Cream. I take it because I am done at this point. I get down to the cone part and it was so stale. Threw the rest out of the window. ...

I've driven by this place numerous times and I finally stopped tonight. I was definitely not missing out on anything. The two flavors I had tasted off and my cone was stale. The girl working came off as if she was annoyed by us. We were there an hour and a half before closing and the first thing out of her mouth was, "We're closing soon, you came at a bad time." Yes, this is at a gas station, so why is the ice cream so good? And how do they fit their huge selection in there? They have so many flavors and toppings and sundaes, you can go simple, crazy, or make a copycat treat like you’d get at a more expensive ice cream chain. This place has great prices and a cute picnic table area, I’ll be going back...
