Dollar General — Local services in Tolono

I went to grab coffee filters from here. The doors were open and I walked in and was searching for them. I approached a sales lady and started to ask where they were. Before I could get the words out of my mouth she raised a hand and literally said uh uh we don't open till 8. It's 7:28 right currently. Then she goes on to say we don't even have a register in. I guarantee that I won't shop here for a while. Why were the doors unlocked? Why was she rude? That's all I'm saying. I don't think she was trying to be rude...

Like most DG stores, it can seem a bit trashy but wow I've only been gone for a year and a half and everyone hates their job and the store is a mess! I understand that things were being shifted around (which I can understand and sympathize with) but, move gaint bins of things to one side of the asle or put it somewhere else that's out of the way. Especially if you're not working on it, because I see you on your phone... doing nothing. No smile, no hello, no nothin'. Sucks for this cute small town to be...

I had to wait a long time for a lady to come to the check out area. I had to go find her and asked her to come ring up my stuff. She was not very kind either. I heard her telling the next lady in line that she had just quit her job there at DG, so I guess that was her last day. I also remember not having the most courteous people in the past at this store. It's fine, I just wish they would make their workers be a little friendlier, though...
