I visited this warehouse today, 25th July 2024. Have not visited for almost a year. In recording my first visit, it was a typical Warehouse with some good and not so good things. One does not expect or have great expectations for such a place. This was the last visit I will ever make. There were very few people in the store, and from where you enter, until the back of the store in the home goods section, it was a disgrace. It was not a single piece of clothing that I could find in the men's area, that was worth anything, particularly they're so called discount price. The House wares section was just full of empty boxes, merchandise scattered all over the place and now one person to answer a question. I guess that's typical for today's market. There was very little merchandise to be had, some of the same items were ticketed at broad different prices. I search for some men's underwear as well. I won't even mention what a disaster that was. Price wise, boscov's has them beat on their worst day, and as for home items, take a trip up the road and go to home goods. Finally I have to use the restroom. It was filthy, and look like it had not been attended to for a very long time. It is a disgrace not to have bath tissue available. I wonder how they pass some sort of health inspection from the town, but of course in toms River anything is possible, especially under the current administration. I have used Burlington in different counties throughout the state for many years, but this one is not even worth the time it takes to walk from your car to the front ๐ช. If I didn't know better I would say there was one person in the store,personnel that is. Of course they didn't even offer a bag for my merchandise. I saw bags available behind the counter but I'm sure there was a charge for them as well. Maybe some more reviews like this will help you to clean up your act, although I very much doubt it. ย ย ย Read more2/25/23 Burlington has a fragrance problem again that is blooming even before Spring gets here! Left the store with a headache. Apparently, the manager and employees are immune to the odor. It is noticeable as you walk the aisles, not so much at the registers. Seems like it is being pumped thru the ventilation system. Will contact the Health Department and see if this fragrance is making for unhealthy air inside the Burlington store.
4/24/22-Went back to Burlington to shop. No men collecting clothes in women's dressing rooms. That's great news. The aroma is not as powerful as it's been in the past. So, I am adding 2 more stars to my review. Thank you again, Burlington!

Heavy fragrance smell when shopping in Toms River, NJ store. Have allergies. The smell gives me a headache and teary eyes. The fragrance doesn't allow me to shop comfortably. I put on a mask, quickly look around and get out just as quickly. Also, a man was collecting clothing in the ladies' dressing room. That's a definite NO, NO!!! He belongs on the men's side collecting clothes, and not walking around the ladies' dressing rooms fetching clothes!
Brought both of my concerns to the attention of Burlington Customer Service The fragrance, they said nothing. The man employee, they wanted to know the day of the week and the hour he was in ladies' dressing room. Told them to investigate -- look up their records and see who was working the dressing rooms on the day I reported the incident. I shouldn't have to do their work for them!!!!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Erin at the Burlington in Toms River! She is an absolute gem and truly went above and beyond to help me. I was searching for a specific article of clothing, and Erin took it upon herself to comb through the entire store just to assist me. She genuinely cared about making sure I found exactly what I was looking for, even though she was clearly busy.
Her professionalism, kindness, and dedication to customer service were unmatched. Erin turned what could have been a frustrating shopping trip into a fantastic experience. If every store had an employee like Erin, the world would be a better (and much more organized) place!
