Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Toms River

If I could give zero stars I would. This is the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen. Definitely will never be returning to another chipotle in my life. I’ve had issues with chipotle over the years, have given them many chances after hearing all the rumors of salmonella and ecoli poisoning. Over the times I’ve ordered from here, usually always this location the chicken is sceevy and chewy. And the steak is even worse. Only went there today because I had a gift card and figured I would give another chance because I haven’t been there in so long and maybe things have improved. Decided to not go with either the chicken or the steak because of how gross they’ve been. So I figured I would try something new because how could it get any worse then the chicken and the steak. I was mistakenly wrong. What I found in my Barbacoa burrito will haunt me for the rest of my life. I tried calling this location and a recording proceeds to say nobody can speak to me over the phone when I try to say I would like to report an issue the computer operator tries to take my order. This mantra keeps going on which I believe is not a coincidence. There may be more of these pieces in my burrito, but I honestly don’t want to find out. The best part about my experience was when I had gotten up to the register to pay I couldn’t find the gift card in my wallet so $25 dollars for everything seen in picture and all is going in the garbage. Please proceed with caution especially when ordering from this specific location. Hopefully nobody else has to go through this who knows where this “meat” is coming from. Will definitely be sticking to Taco Bell or bubakoos....

To start with when we walked in the door, I never saw a restaurant facility so filthy dirty! And filthy dirty is an understatement for sure. I thought about turning around and walking out, but against our better judgment we ordered. Employees were extremely rude, especially the boy at the register who had a rag on his head who had a very bad attitude and gave us very bad nasty looks as if we were bothering him. I did ask to speak with the manager to complain who came out and was about one step above the Rude register boy and filthy dirty restaurant. She said they we’re busy and didn’t have time to clean the tables. What?? There was not one other person in the restaurant eating, so I’m not sure why someone couldn’t have wiped down the tables, every single one of them was very dirty and the floor was no better! I wanted to return my food because the food serving station was also pretty disgusting, very disheveled with food spilled all around it, but I was embarrassed to ask for a refund after they rang us up. We will not be eating the food we just purchased for fear of getting sick. I will never visit this place again and I surely hope somehow corporate gets a hold of this review and does something to fix all this. This is completely unacceptable. I will reach out to corporate personally outside of this Google page, but wanted to post here because I feel like more of the general public will be forewarned hopefully by this...

This is by far the worst Chipotle I have ever been to. And I've been to a lot since I travel frequently! I have never written a bad review, but felt the need to for this store. Just got back from ordering my meal online since their in-store system was down. I ordered extra rice, and double meat. Couldn't really check my order since it was placed online and not made in front of me, but when I opened my order, there was barely any rice in the bowl and maybe 1 scoop of steak instead of double meat. When I asked one of the employees for a side of sour cream and a side of hot salsa, he told me I had to order it online since they charge for extra side. SINCE WHEN DOES CHIPOTLE CHARGE FOR EXTRA SOUR CREAM AND HOT SALSA? I told him there wasn't even an option to order those two sides online, and he just gave me an attitude and said "Well I'm not sure why it's not online, but I've done this a lot and have made a lot of sides and we charge for them"

So if you want to pay for extra food but only get a little amount and pay extra for things that do not cost extra, this store is for you. $23 for half of my food to not even be in the bowl is ridiculous! Wish I could get...
