#kay #kayjewelers I was bait and switched by this company. Toms River, Ocean County Mall, manager Octavio Dejesus and his crew lied to me. As I was shopping for my wife and mother-in-laws christmas gifts, I stopped in their business. The sales girl, who while bumbling at counter told me she was new, also told me that as long as I was over $350 in sales that there would be no interest for 6 months. I received a text reminding me of my payment so i went to the store and paid my $50.00 to the same girl. Then I receive a statement saying i never paid my monthly bill. Call up the number on the bill, thinking I'm calling Kay since their logo is on the envelope. I get Genesis FS, who is the bank that backs the stores credit line. Well, 1 of 2. But apparently they don't offer promotions where as the other does. Wondered why I didn't see this advertised in there but was then being talked to by the sales girl, I have been a customer here for about 10 years and been getting promotions since my first purchase, my engagement ring. I then go to Kay because they've always helped me with all my other needs. Then the manager, Octavio, who couldn't be less helpful as he approached the whole situation like he was going into a fight. His animosity and overall reaction to my request for some help just seemed like he had this argument before. Like its common practice here. I couldn't be less disappointed in Kay Jewelers. Read moreI went here Friday night to look for a gift for my bridesmaids. The sales associate found a heart necklace for $24.99 each on sale. All of a sudden the manager Lisa took over and said it was $45.99 at which I still thought was a good deal. Until I got home and read the receipt. She charged me an additional $19.99 x 7 for ESP which I was not told about. The necklace was actually $24.99 and I was never told about the ESP. I called corporate and I am waiting for a call back from the district manager because this was completely wrong and the $19.99 is optional and the necklace was only $24.99. I stopped back in the store today to ask her why she did that and she gave me 3 different answers and kept stumbling upon her words because she knew what she did was wrong. Offered nothing. No apologies. Just excuses. I am so appalled with the customer service and how I was completely ripped off. Don't ever shop at this store, especially this location because they will rip you off just to meet...

I tried to return the piece and even spend another 300 dollars to get something my fiancé would love however returning custom made jewelry is extremely hard and have been waiting a week for a return call to figure out what they will be able to do for me. My next step is to post the picture of what the jewelry was supposed to look like next to the real life necklace the engraving is sideways and birthstones are not semetrical the piece looks nothing like as advertised.
