honeygrow — Restaurant in Toms River

I recently had the pleasure of dining in at the new Honeygrow location in Toms River, and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt clean, modern, and inviting for a perfect for a casual meal that still feels thoughtfully prepared.

The ordering process was smooth and convenient with their touchscreen kiosks, offering a wide range of stir-fry, salad, and honeybar options. I went with the Seasonel Stir-Fry, and it was absolutely delicious. The noodles were perfectly cooked, the vegetables were fresh and crisp, and the sauce had just the right amount of heat and depth of flavor. You can tell they use quality ingredients and take pride in offering healthier, wholesome options.

What really stood out was how quickly everything was prepared and served, even with a steady flow of customers. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure the dining area stayed spotless.

I knew from the moment I walked in that I was about to have a great meal. You order what you want from a kiosk (you can ask for a recipe if needed). Everything you order can be customized to your liking. There are plenty of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options.

I ordered the Sweet Soy Five Spice with chicken instead of turkey meatballs and then added additional veggies. My meal was delicious! There was a bit too much sauce for my liking but I can easily just ask for less sauce or to have the sauce on the side next time (there will definitely be a next time). The serving size was perfect! Plenty of food to fill me up but not too much where I feel wasteful throwing what’s leftover out.

There are plenty of seating options and they are laptop friendly with charging ports at the bench seats. There are also gender neutral bathrooms that were clean, which is always nice to see. The employees were all very friendly as well.

I plan to come back in the VERY near future to try their Honeybar...

I came to this place on the recommendation of a friend, and it truly exceeded my expectations. All the options are healthy, and the ingredients are clearly of excellent quality. I ordered the Chesapeake Bay crab, garlic butter, and parmesan (from the kids' menu), and for dessert from the honey bar, the brownie crumble and cobbler. Both were absolutely fabulous. ✨

Regarding the service, the place has touch screens so you can place your order and pay yourself. However, the staff is always available to help if they see you're not used to that method. The place is impeccable, with booster seats for toddlers and two restrooms—one unisex and accessible ♿, the other standard.
