The tools you can buy at Harbor Freight aren't of the highest quality. If you need a tool that you will use every day to make a living, I suggest you shop somewhere else. But if you need something like a flaring kit to flare the ends of your new brake line that you have to replace because the old one rusted and burst rendering your brakes useless until you do the replacement then HF is for you. Point is, if you need a tool for a one time or rare occasion then this is where you come. Typically you'll find things for a fraction of what you'll pay at places like Home Depot or Sears or even AutoZone. The flaring kit I bought was 1/3 of the price of any other one I found. Being that I'm broke, just moved here, and need these types of things for cheap I'm glad Harbor Freight is right down the street. This isn't an endorsement, I'm sure they sell some real crap, but for the occasional need for tools you don't want to spend top dollar on because you'll only use it once...
Read moreManagement is very friendly, when I asked where I could find a product, He told me and I found what I was looking for exactly where he said it was. Then while decideing on a particular item I looked up and he was down the isle seeming to be straightening merchandise. I put item in cart and started to Make an illegal u-turn in isle, making sure nobody was behind me I noticed the Manager again was straightening merchandise, which really didn't need it. Anyways it happened one more time. He was really lonely because the stuff he was fidgeting with was hanging up., so how does it get messy? My lucky day, I felt like a VIP. I felt likeHE was there just for me. watching me, just keeping an eye out in case I...
Read moreI love this place so much. I was deceived by their store made tag on the shelf with their air compressors though. It said it was rated for surface prep and as a skeptic I didn't believe it (surface prep is a taxing job for any electrical air compressor) but in purchased it to give it a try and discovered the tag on the actual air compressor said it was intermittently good at surface prep. I figured it would still be enough to just sand some corners on my floor, unfortunately the compressor was not as effective as my older one with slightly higher specs but a smaller drum (and it was like 200 years old) I returned the air compressor the next day. I felt bad but for that money I dont want deception. Great staff and very...
