Normally a great place but i went in there today looking for a HIGH QUALITY flashlight...they directed to towards a display full of lights. I couldnt get any lights to work and when i asked for help, i was told to hang on...i waited for 9 minutes and finally asked someone else who said "hang on"..i went to the register and the had a lady come over to help me, she went and put batteries and a "500 LUMEN light"...this thing was not bright enough to show up on the floor but my 150 lumen light that i had with me DID show up on the floor. The lights were seriously misrepresented as far as lumens go. She told me to go up front and look at the ones near the area where they install screens (which by the way, they are backed up for 2 weeks on getting a screen fixed)...anyway, some guy wearing a gray jacket was walking by me and i asked if he worked there ...he says "WHAT"..."WHAT DO YOU NEED!!!!!!!!!!!" ...i told him that i wanted to see a flashlight but they were held onto the display pegs with magnetic locks so he grabs the package and tries to rip if it half to get if off the peg, eventually he just tears the peg out of the rack and says "HERE". So I'm standing there with a flashlight hooked to the display peg....i said what am i supposed to do with this? He takes it back, sticks the peg in the rack and walks away. I ended up with yet another employee who shows me flashlights that will put out 350 lumens if you use a L-ion battery that they DO NOT CARRY?!?!?! Gee, thats nice, sell me a light that i cant use because it takes a battery you dont carry. You know what WESTLAKE..you're already about 5 minutes away from going out of business because of places like LOWES, HOME DEPOT and WALMART...you might wanna try taking care of your customers, especially ones who spent $1200 on STIHL tools and was looking to dump nearly $50.00 on...

Stopped in at this location because it was convenient. I was greeted by a young man at the register. I said hello, and then went on about my business, trying to get a hold of some winged nuts and bolts for a curio cabinet. I set foot for the nuts and bolts area and was looking about for close to 10 minutes. Although there were employees(And a manager) nearby, they never offered any assistance. I walked up to the manager, and requested his assistance in finding the bolt style I needed. We walked back over to the area I was originally at and he looked through two drawers, stopped, turned around toward me, and said "Sorry, kid, we don't have it." I am a grown 19 year old male. I do not deserve to be called "kid." Manager was very rude, and acted like he didn't even want to be there. I also needed some PVP pipe cut in a certain length. Needed it in a half-inch diameter. He inquired about the purpose it would be used for. I'd stated that there was no particular use, I just needed the pipe. He was not able to assist me with this because he literally walked away, before the conversation was even over. This "kid" will not be shopping in this store, anymore. There's a reason why my family has always said to use Roach Hardware. This must...

Didn't have what I was looking for. Only one cashier of the 5 people, 3 cashiers and 2 managers, greeted me as I walked in, even though it was a loud and obnoxious hello as to make it know to one of the managers that she greeted someone. Prices are about 10% to 20% higher than the other 3 home improvement stores, not worth the (in)convenience or less of a drive. Passed by 3 other workers inside the store and not one greeted me or asked if I was finding what I needed. As I type this, I keep taking stars away. As I left, no one acknowledged the fact that I wasn't buying anything or asked if they could help find what I was looking for. Not even a look my way to see if I may have picked up anything and was leaving without paying. No telling how much product just walks out that door just off the lack of customer service. Ended up having to drive to Lowe's to purchase the item that I needed. Great reminder to just bypass this store and drive on over to 1 of the 3 big box home improvement stores just a couple of more miles north up...
