Crestview Community Center — Local services in Topeka

My sister in law helped me rent one of the rooms for my baby shower for next month, and even though we haven't had it yet, I just want to thank all the lovely and friendly staff who are letting us rent out the room 3 hours after they close! I'm so thankful and happy they're doing this for us, it really means a lot. We couldn't find a place that would let us bring our own food and decorations besides here, that also was available that weekend (everything was already booked so far in advance) but yeah, I guess they close at noon Saturdays (which is pretty early) but they are allowing us to stay until 3. The room we looked at was very spacious and perfect for what we are doing! Maybe after the event I can try to add some pictures here....

Love Crestview Community Center! I go there at least once a week for volleyball. I love that they have options monday through friday for volleyball with different levels of play at different times. If I just want to have fun and get exercise I come to the drop in lunch time volleyball, if I want to step it up a little I come to prime time volleyball. I love Crestview’s community center cause I have been playing drop in volleyball there since I was 17 years old when they had a swimming pool there I used to swim there every summer. The only things I would love to see change there though is to literally move the parking lot up closer to the entry way and possibly bring the pool back I really miss it...
