Located inside the Galaxy Soccer Center. I go (from Culver City) for both group and private lessons both of which I'm entirely happy with. Lloyd is a tirelessly enthusiastic coach, relaxed and funny. Hours are convenient and the prices are fair for both lessons and equipment. One star off because with the volleyball, soccer and (mostly bad) music over the P.A system. it can be loud enough to inhibit easy communication across the table. It's important to note that this is not something that SBTT controls. It's inherent in the function of this large facility and the music is under building management control not SBTT's. Weekdays in the afternoon are better in regards to the noise. The building has a small cafe (evenings and weekends), vending machines and plenty of well maintained bathrooms. Although the group class was fine, I found both folks at the front desk, whom I found out later were Lloyd and Jordan, to be a bit unfriendly.
When I inquired about the round robin, was rebuffed and told it was closed and in a bit of “it’s your fault for not signing up ahead of time online” attitude.
I also found out that Lloyd at the front desk was the owner.
It was a bit disappointing, since we were seriously considering membership. Wasn’t keen to join for long term membership to be treated poorly.
