We love this place. It is located right in Torrance in the Torrance Cultural Arts Center. It is perfect.

Parking is not only free, it is easy. I am disabled and was able to have my husband drive me right to the front and drop me off. He then parked himself and we met at the front.

This is an all volunteer staff and they are lovely. They will help you find your seat or buy what you want. They have beer and wine and snacks. You can have them in the lobby or in their adorable outdoor seating error. I don't think you can take in anything but water, I just don't recall. They also have soda and all their snacks are in the cute logo bags.

You can tell the volunteers are proud of this place and they should be.

There is not a bad seat in the house. The seats are comfortable and the entire space is spotless. You can even go outside if you need a break or there is an intermission.

We took out grandson to the see The Bill Withers Songbooks and it was amazing. The sound was perfect. The singer and his band were just great and he sounded like Mr. Withers. He also did some of his own music and it was great.

Getting in and out is easy. The patrons are nice. The staff is the best,

There is nothing not to like so you must go. Use their website or Google TOCA and you will find a list of upcoming events.

The area is safe, it is all...

Was gifted tickets, so saw a unique performance here over the weekend, which was good because of the performers and small theater. Parking is easy, seats were ok but not terribly comfortable. Lobby was remarkably barren. I just went to purchase a $16.50 ticket from the box office and was told it was cash only (despite advertisements everywhere about accepting credit cards online and over the phone), so returned to my vehicle to grab the $20 bill I keep for emergency gas money. After waiting in line again, I was told they could only accept exact change, so could not process the transaction with my $20 bill, despite the person in front of me having paid with a $20, a $10, and three $1 bills (meaning there were at least three $1 bills in the register, and he could keep my 50 cents if needed). So I returned to my vehicle and raided the change collection that I use to pay parking meters and returned with exact change. There was a second person at the window this time, and he processed my transaction, remarking that in 2 years of working there, he's never had someone pay using coins. So... exact change, my foot. It seems the first dude just wanted to mess with me, which I am told is illegal. Armstrong Theater, you...

I went to go see a Casey Abram performance. He is a really good musician. The place was cool over all but the only thing that sucks is that you can't take drinks inside the theatre. If you purchase a drink besides water you have to drink it in the lounge. They told me this after I had purchased two Adult beverages for myself and attempted to go to my seats in the theatre. I was a lil bummed out that I had to down my 2 drinks with out really enjoying them...lol... If they would have told me that there was no drinks allowed in the theatre area as I was purchasing them I would have never bought the drinks. I was so looking forward to a few drinks while hearing some...

Located in Torrance. A very nice theater suitable for mid-level productions. Strong audio visual system, and a deep orchestral pit. Very large stage able to accommodate many performers on stage. The seating arrangement is good. . There are no bad seats in the House. Every seat has great sight lines. Be careful because the aisles are very steep. Large Lobby able to accommodate many. Family friends and guests. And a small area where concessions can be sold. Ample parking.

We saw Peter Pan and loved the experience. The staff was courteous and professional, even with hundreds of kids running around. I loved that they had the dancers warming up on stage and then got some of the kids up to practice mime dancing.
