I waited a few weeks to do a review on this place but they earned it based of the type of customer service they provided to my family I stayed for 3 weeks and my refrigerator wasn't working and I had to throw away my food and waited 3 days before they were able to place us in another room.i reported to them the week before I saw a roach in the bathroom and they told me they would place a work order and no one came or mentioned it.Told them about the smoke detector going off each time I cooked and I have a video I will try to attach.in my room was smelling bad and I was nose blind trying to make sure I kept the roaches away using a oil defuser. defuser. This hotel has been neglected for a while from the inside to the outside I will provide pictures.I asked guest relations for a complimentary 3 to four days to make up for the food that was thrown away.I have spent over $2400 to stay and in the hotel they haven't not made an effort to fix this. Timeline: August 4th On Sunday afternoon called the front desk and spoke to a Stephanie and told her our refrigerator wasn't working in our room and she told me she was leaving a note for the manager.I asked for name of the manager and told me. August 5 monday called guest relations because the next morning the manager didn't call to my room or contact one of us. I go the front desk and ask about the refrigerator.she came to our room and I video taped her voice but not her face of telling about the things wrong with room overall. They went the whole day with out fixing the situation someone was there whole waiting on a repairman to come but no one ever came but a call at 8:58 to let us know we could change rooms but my partner was already in bed and had to be to work early the next day. The manager is extremely nice but she wasn't very proactive in assisting me and my partner I went to the front desk and talked to staff and I asked why did they call so late? Her response was that manager had called and told her to tell we could change rooms right before she call to tell us at 8:58 i had invited her to look at the refrigerator at 9 something in the morning. In me talking to staff I was told that they were doing an audit and the manager was busy all day with that. This place doesn't have a handy man on site. The hotel has been neglected and they have an undocumented rule that we can only stay here for 21 days that is not at this exact location. They have some programs for the homeless but the staff told me the place is being sold but that is no excuse to provide bad customer service. When the call came through the manager had already left the premises and the desk staff confirmed it. August 6th we finally were able to move a different room. Things wrong in the first room 1.Broken refrigerator 2.Exhaust fan Broken 3.No screen on one of the windows 4.The smoke detector battery was going low Things wrong with the location 5.The Hallway smells like trash due trash room and the end of the hallway 1.Trash allowed to over flow for days 2.Grass has massive over growth 3. A pile of empty alcohol bottles by an door of the hotel 4. Raw sewage and standing water on two sides of the building 5. Old furniture outside where someone can get injured.

If I could give a negative 10 stars I would! I am a 45 year old travel nurse and I have been using ESA locations for the last 4 years and I have never had an experience like I had here. I was first harassed on my second day because I had 3 dogs in my room and they had a 2 pet limit. I explained that two of the three are licensed service animals and they are not pets therefore they are not allowed to be counted in the pet limit because they are for a specific medical issue and they are trained to alert me when I am going to have an episode to avoid me getting hurt. The front desk lady continued to call my room phone and had zero regard to the fact that I had just worked a 17 hour shift. I had to unplug my phone to make her stop calling my room. The assistant manager literally checked me out of my room without my permission simply because I had tried to pay for my week numerous times and I either stood at the counter for long periods of time or I was verbally attacked by the assistant manager when I actually had a human available to take the payment since there is no online payment method available. I was verbally attacked, called names and threatened by the person that claimed to be the assistant manager and I literally did nothing wrong. I have never had any issues with any other hotel or ESA so it’s obviously not a me problem. I am glad that I had a personal security camera in my room with my personal WiFi because I have the actual footage of the Assistant Manager, Marcus, harassing me about my dogs and still considering my service animals as “pets” and being very hostile and invasive. I felt afraid for my safety and attacked for my disability all because they didn’t know what the laws are for service animals. I was also experiencing a lot of chest congestion and runny nose and eyes and decided to clean my room myself on my 3rd day and I was appalled by the filth that I found. The windows are covered in dirt and mold as well as the window seals being covered in black filth and my windows have not been open. The recliner is broken. The cable was not working for a few days and the WiFi is a joke. The hotel is run down, the staff is very unprofessional and rude and it’s way overpriced for the quality. I will be talking to a civil attorney on Monday and I will make sure this doesn’t happen to anyone else. I have already filed a complaint with the DOJ Civil Rights Division and I truly hope that this particular location corrects the many issues that it has. They are a very poor representation of the brand.

Refused service upon arrival for not being 21+. When I booked the reservation it did not state such in the policy. No where on the website does not state this policy. When I asked for a copy of the policy at the hotel, Marcus informed me that he will look for it. After not being able to provide the policy, he says he needs to call his supervisor Falicia and walked into the back room. Marcus returned and informed me that they can’t supply the policy after 15 mins of waiting and they are now refusing service because they have the right to do so and that I need to call to cancel the reservation. He then says he will cancel the reservation and when asked for a confirmation, he denied me. He then tells me to leave and immediately says he is going to call law enforcement. Not ever did a confrontation or escalation occur. This is a formal complaint on Marcus and his unprofessionalism. The way he represented your company today was despicable and I’ll never visit another one of your establishments again and will persuade my family and friends against it as well. Yeah, we all have our days but it’s not what you do but how you do it and Marcus, you did not behave in a professional manner that represented your business well. Do better and be better. However, Extended Stay, if your policy is to provide a service to adults 21+ years old, please state such in your policy prior to booking to avoid these issues for your consumers and employees so there is no misunderstanding. Your website (please see attached policies form your website) informs that they cater to “students” which I am. No age range was listed on your website at all. It was a huge inconvenience to travel here today and be turned away and embarrassed because of a “policy” that was not included in the actual policy and your employees being frustrated having to continue repeating such to the consumers so they refuse service. Do better also.
