Delthorne Park — Attraction in Torrance

TLDR: Great place for a walk and kid friendly play area but nothing spectacular. Pet friendly. Features: Walking Paths (w/ exercise stations) Public Restrooms Free Parking Public Picnic Tables and BBQ Playground Public Basketball Court Open Field (not good for sports) Trees Good place for a pleasant walk with a variety of exercise stations spaced out across the outer track. Bathrooms are publicly accessible but not always stocked or clean. Playground is interestingly laid out and is frequently occupied. Ground covering in play area is sand. Single basketball court. Open Field in center of park. Very large park, easy to lose yourself from the sounds and sights of traffic and the city. Parking isn't a problem, and if you want to drop someone off the roundabout-esque shape of the lot makes it easy. A nice path and cobble steam run parallel through the park, sometimes intersecting at a bridge. Along it are some stretching/workout stations and a couple random monkey bars if you wanna use them. The jungle gyms are huge, the trees are huge, the fields are huge... this park has a lot to offer whether you want to host an event, play around, stroll through, sit in some shade and admire the squirrels in the trees, or take a jog, stopping at the occasional exercise station for a kind of circuit workout, you can't go wrong with this beautiful park....

First time visiting this park. My first thought was that parking was not fun. There was onky about a dozen spots and the rest is street parking. One thing that did catch my attention is that there is a walking path about half mile long that was made from recycled tired that had been taken out of the LA waterways. Along the walking path you'll find a few exercise stations to do various types of exercises. There is a basketball court kids playground and plenty of areas to relax on the green and bbq.
