Absolutely amazing. I’ve had plenty of korean food, but this restaurant is the only place where I literally could not stop saying “oh my god” after each bite.
My boyfriend and I ordered the soy marinated crab, spicy marinated crab, small size soybean stew, and it came with two rice! The spicy marinated crab was spicy but the kind of spicy where you can’t help but keep eating even when your mouth is on fire.
The soy marinated crab was amazing, I’ve tried the one in Crab House at ktown and I wasn’t too crazy about it, but I couldn’t stop eating the one here. I even ordered extra rice (the nutritious rice is a brown sticky rice) just to eat the leftover marinade with the rice. I’ve never eaten more than one cup of rice, so I swear it’s really that good.
The small size soybean paste stew was just something I was craving because I love soybean paste stew, but stop right there. It’s not just any soybean paste stew, it was super rich, filled with veggies, unlike any soybean paste stew i’ve ever eaten. In fact, there was GINSENG in it. I found a small piece in my stew! For a $6 stew thats the quality of a $15 stew, I just love it so much.
Not only is the food amazing, the staff are all wonderful. They all kept checking up on me and asking me questions, also with some small talk about the food. I loved it! The restaurant also had nice music and a relaxing modern and clean atmosphere. Definitely 10/10 would come again!!!! If you love Crab House in KTown, wait to try...
Read moreWe've made the rounds when it comes to Korean spots in Torrance, but this was our first time checking out BnB. The place looks impressively clean and feels brand new. We swung by on a Monday, just before 3 p.m., and the place was completely empty... except for an elderly gentleman dozing off in a corner booth. Turns out, he was our server! Super sweet guy, definitely added to the charm. To be fair, not many folks are chasing Korean BBQ in the middle of a Monday afternoon. We were just looking for a quick bite, so we went with the soon tofu and cold noodles. Both hit the spot, flavourful, decent sized portions, and the banchan lineup was not too shabby. All in all, a solid intro to BnB. But I have a feeling I'll need to come back and give their BBQ a try before I can truly make up my mind...
Read moreOrdered the box bbq set with army stew, beef is all high quality, grilled table side by the server. Army stew is decent, but I don't consider the stew traditional Korean food. Spicy Marinated crab is excellent, very fresh crabs, the marinade sauce is so good, I had to mix it with rice with a light drizzle of sesame oil. Trust, Must try. Grilled fish and seafood pancake is great no fishy smell at all. Spicy cold noodles just like how mom makes it. A variety of 10 Unlimited Banchan was all good.
Excellent service. This is that place in the south bay for authentic traditional...
