Long Island Halal Meat — Local services in Town of Babylon

I just moved to the area and was excited to find a Turkish halal market so close to my new address as my husband is Turkish and only eats halal meat but was dumbfounded with their customer service to Non-Turkish customers...I placed my items on the counter to be purchased and to place a butchers order and the lady at the register completely ignored me for 15 minutes looked through me like i wasn't even there and then proceeded to take eat in orders from Turkish customers that came into the store 10 minutes after me..at one point an older Turkish gentleman had to intervene and ask the staff why haven't they taken my order. Yes, I do know a small amount of the Turkish language...and had I not been trying to surprise my husband with a Turkish meal I would have walked out after the disrespectful way I was...

First time here and the service was good. The guy taking our order was friendly, but the lady who served us our order looked agitated. We told her thank you after our purchase and she just looked away. (Maybe an language barrier?) I’m reading reviews on how their meat isn’t great but I thought it was fresh and tasted so. I don't know what it is with local butcher shops but they all need to spruce up their customer experience. Low-lights, large foreign selection and a meat cutting station at the rear with the least enthused workers.
