I was fortunate enough to discover this little gem back in March, 2016, and I have been a regular here ever since. Renee and Angie are so sweet and accommodating, and they always make everyone feel welcome in this small, cozy shop filled with everything a scrapbooker or card maker could ever want. They even expanded their card making and stamp line during the pandemic, which I love, love, love! Card making has become my passion.
Their monthly two day crops are always a highlight for me; I try to go every month if I can. The laid-back vibe, Sunny Radio(my favorite station) playing my favorite easy listening songs, especially those tunes from the 70's as we relax and create. And the food! I always look forward to the meatball sliders whenever we have Italian food....they are awesome! It was also at the Latte Crops that I got hooked on Chicken Caesar salad pizza, and that I tried Carvel's Fudgie the Whale for the first time. Most of all, the other ladies are awesome and very caring....we're a fun bunch!
They have some good classes, and plenty of other great events, too, like the garage sales, the December Holiday Cookie Exchange, and more!
If you're a crafter, or if you're just starting out in scrapbooking and/or card making, I definitely recommend coming here first. Renee and Angie will help you find what you need, give you great tips, and they will never rip you off. Don't forget to follow their store on Facebook so that you can find out about all the great stuff coming up! I am truly blessed to be a part of the...
Read moreI was very excited to find a scrapbook store in Long Island, NY because I have searched over a year without finding a brick and mortar store. I called before heading out to be sure it is a real (not just online) store and to be sure it was open. The owner answered the phone on the first ring and explained their hours, etc. It was easy to find and has plenty of free parking. Once inside there were several large tables set up, one ready for an incoming class. I was specifically looking for Graphic 45 paper pads which they do not have. They DO offer monthly scrapbook classes that DO include Graphic 45 papers, but did have a few individual sheets. There is a large variety of individual scrapbook paper and some basic supplies like ribbon, adhesives, die cuts, a few clear stamp sets, inks, etc. Although it was not as big as I was hoping and they did not carry a very wide variety of embellishments or stickers, etc. it is still a cute little store. I was impressed that the owner will work one on one with you to get you what you are looking for and help you with any questions on her products. She also has a very small fee for open table use any day of the week (but calling first) and you have free use of all the tools she has there like Cricuit, dies, etc. Cute little store,...
