Ok, let's start off with this...the absolute best breakfast sandwiches I have had since moving up from downstate. These guys get it. Service is excellent, food is prepared quickly and accurately. I love, Love, LOVE their breakfast sandwiches. Just perfect. However, their lunch sandwiches while delicous can vary depending upon who prepares it. At least 1 or 2 of the staff there will give you a 8 or 9 dollar sandwich that has so little food on it you would be hungry again in 30 minutes. Dont get me wrong, I dont want to be so full I can't move, but 30 minutes after eating i dont want to be thinking about needing to eat again. The last lunch sandwich I purchased their I handed back to them after purchasing and just skipped lunch, I couldnt bring myself to eat it as it didnt feel any heavier than if it was simply a roll without cold cuts. Again, this is not every employee that serves a sandwich like this. There are many local foods available here including the cheesecake from the Nuns up in Saratoga county (maybe Washington?) that is raved about. I have family in Delmar. I live in Pennsylvania. I called asking if they would take an order and have it ready for my son in law to pick up. Their answer was absolutely! The selection of deli items and specialty cheeses was wonderful. The young lady I spoke to was so pleasant and did not rush me in making any decisions. I liked this small neighborhood store. They have some unusual groceries, and some of the more common things. Among the unusual things, they had New. Skete Nun's delicious cheesecakes!!! All that I know of is that the New Skete Nun's cheesecakes are very very expensive!! I couldn't find how much it would cost, so I have to go back there sometime. It would have been nice if the store sold them by the slice??? I bought some of the deli's chicken salad and a big slice of peach pie!!! Both were quite yummy!!!...
