Great store to shop for almost anything & now that the grocery department has been added it's such a life savor especially when it's getting late & grocery stores have closed . 11pm on a late night of work I can buy veggies now for my pet Bunnies:) The discounts in the technology department is not always on sale so you can say they don't have gimmicky sales as most places tend to do . I just wish that the credit card department when I speak to them would actually treat me like a human being . It's so obvious that it's a bunch of young overqualified kids that are millennials that are angry that they can't find another higher paying job .
I had an instance where my payment was not excepted with that department after I made the payment at the store and was assured that I was on time with my payment in the store but the store is a separate department so when I called to explain my payment was made in the store the credit department was condescending which was on the same day of a no travel code was enforced from a huge blizzard so I couldn't use the internet since power went down & I still trekked through the snow against the law put into effect by our county political office & the system at Target was also down so I was told something and was forced to pay a late fee even when I paid on the due date on time confirmed by the store manager. I was never late on any payments and after the big Target hack that happened it amazed me that I was treated like such disrespect by the credit department.
One thing I recommend is bye something and have the cash to pay it right after the purchase of your Target Red Card or face the $35 late fee btw my balance was only $63 so besides the interest to boot I paid a APR of about 1000% if you call the incorrect late fee & interest as what it really is theft I paid 150% for my item but that's not Target the stores fault . I won't ever forget the nasty attitude I caught from the credit department. She had people laughing in the background at my expense & when I asked for a manager she said as far as your concerned I'm the manager and theirs nobody else that you can speak with . I asked for a return call & received nothing from the credit department as asked .
Pay cash after you charge this way Target will never make a cent in interest on the banking side which will hurt their bottom line & make that department think about another approach to deal with valued...
Read moreI had the most heart breaking and most delightful experience at this target location in one night, we ordered two Our Generation items online to be picked up at this location; not only were the items in excellent condition but they were also left underneath the shopping cart rack. We realized that they never made it home with us an hour and a half after leaving this location(yikes), I rushed into the car and drove back to the location in hopes that maybe someone with a big a heart as mine picked the items up and brought them back in( wishful thinking I know). I searched under the few carts in the cart rack where I originally parked but came across nothing, I went inside and still hopeful I walked to the customer service station where I was greeted with staff members that sympathized with my situation and went out their way to make sure that I was in the right hands. They called the security personnel over (I didn’t get his name) and he assured me he would look into it, when he came out with the security manager (Devin) she assured me that I Indeed left the store with the items underneath the cart- then she proceeded to tell me to go and get the one item off the shelves that they would cover it for me. Shocked I went back and picked up the item and the doll I had originally purchased and walked up to customer service, as I’m getting ready to pay for the doll she tells me not to worry- my GOSH! It was at this moment I lost it, words and emotions all at once. I cannot thank this woman and staff enough for what they did for me tonight, I’ve worked in the retail industry and I know Devin didn’t have to do what she did, I know that employees don’t always go out of their way. TARGET MEDFORD- you have an ANGEL working amongst you, you have the right staff where they need to be, thank you for making this year one to smile about, one to remember. I will be telling our soon to be 3yr old Avery this story and many others who I come across. I can’t...
Read moreMy family visits Target quite frequently. My 3 year old son has always enjoyed going to "the red store" since he was old enough to let us know. Typically, we go a little further to stop at the Target in Sayville. This is because the Medford Target is just not a pleasant place to shop. I get it - this can be an entry level job for many employees, but it seems like every single employee in this store is just plain miserable. That aside, I was actually prompted to leave a review based on my experience yesterday 4/25/24. I'm not sure if the staff in the Ulta section are employed by Target, but the employee with whom I interacted with yesterday was unbelievably curt. I frequently purchase my makeup from the Ulta section within Target, again because we shop here so often that it's most convenient for me. It's not uncommon to spend $100 on 2-4 items in this subsection of the store. Just like every other trip, I walked in and directly to the items I needed. I grabbed both of them, thanked the employee who who had been hovering in the aisle, and went to carry on with my shopping trip. She stepped in front of me and asked, "Cash or card?" I was taken aback and responded that I have historically paid at the end, once I've finished shopping. She was very curt and said, "No. You can pay now." I was put off, left my items at the desk and said I'd return when I was done shopping. When I walked back around, she had put the items back. I understand if this is something new to assist with loss prevention. I wouldn't have had an issue paying then and again at the end, but I did have a major issue with her insinuation and her attitude. I've seen a number of reviews regarding discrimination towards POC at this Target. While I am white passing, the rest of my family is clearly Hispanic. I can't say whether this was prejudicial in nature or not, but it was certainly uncalled for and quite...
