Just had my third piece done by Rob this past Sunday and as always I am more than pleased with it. I got an absolutely beautiful flowing American flag on my right forearm. In my opinion, Rob is the epitome of a professional tattoo artist. He’s personable, knowledgeable and, most importantly, incredibly talented. His designs, especially in American traditional, are crisp and clean and he packs in bold color like a true master. Rob is officially my go to tattoo artist. My wife recently had a realistic lion’s head done on her right inner ankle by Dianna and it’s so realistic you could practically mistake it for a photograph. The shop is immaculately clean and has lots of interesting old school flash displayed on the wall as well as Rob’s hand painted flash on the racks. Rob was absolutely amazing. I needed a cover-up tattoo of a tattoo I had gotten years prior. The artist who originally tattooed me made it very difficult to cover-up due to the thick lines in the lettering. Rob worked with me for almost an hour to make sure it lined up perfectly, adjusting and re-drawing when necessary. The amount of patience, pride, diligence and respect he has towards his profession is outstanding. Needless to say, my cover-up is flawless; absolute perfection and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. There’s no doubt in my mind, if you’re looking for a tattoo, The Black Duck Co. is a great place to get your pieces. Awesome place! I stopped in yesterday afternoon just to check the place out and get some ideas. I was greeted by the owner, Rob. Very friendly and creative gentleman, walk me through some options, and advised me what to avoid. He set me up with Carly who chatted with me and fleshed out some ideas. I wasn't planning on getting the work done right away, but I was so impressed with the shop and staff, that I did it right there, since she had a last minute cancellation. The best move I made! I spent 4 hours getting my tattoo covered up and refreshed. She did an awesome awesome awesome job.
