Hands down the best halal place in Suffolk. I've been coming for over 4 years now and the quality and service have stayed 10/10. The combo over rice is always excellent—don't forget to ask for Zaiqa sauce. The rice is consistently good, and so is the meat. Always a few pieces of warmed pita on top for no extra cost. The guys behind the counter cook the food in front of you, and their kindness makes it a great experience. They are kind, fast, and friendly. The place was born out of a food cart that they still have in Queens. For many years, Abdul and his partners would work 6-7 days a week, each on their own at each location. Thanks to God and their hard work, they have been successful enough to hire new staff which have been a pleasure to get to know.
All of this I know from just a few conversations with the great guys who run this place. I look forward to seeing them almost as much as I look forward to a combo platter over rice with a generous helping of zaiqa sauce. The extra 5 minutes you'll spend here to wait for consistently delicious and affordable halal over a similar chain restaurant are worth every second.
Manana, my friends. So glad to see this restaurant...
Read moreWOW this was amazing. For this being my first time here we are most Definitely coming back and I will take photos because the food was so good I didn't get a chance to even stop from the first bite to pick up my phone to snap a shot. The aroma from the bag had my taste buds excited. Perfect service and serving size. The two chefs we met were very pleasant and gave great vibes. The desert we got was delicious aswell super sweet but awesome with a warm glass of milk for me. I have to say we have found a new spot to get our Halal food cravings out on. This spot is small inside but packs a punch with its aura and attention to flavor. Look forward to eating here again. While we sat and waited mayb 10 to 15 mins for our super delicious food, I happen to ask a customer what he gave the spot and he said he was a regular so more then 5 stars from him. Will update with photos very very soon thanks to the wife loving the sauce and rice. See ya soon. We give this spot more then 5 stars from us aswell....
Read moreThis place is literally amazing I’m glad they opened up. The competition is very fierce on middle country road between zaiqa, shahs, and halal hut. I say zaiqa is the best because they make everything fresh in front of you. Their chicken sandwiches are really good better than Texas chicken, and 5 brothers. Both Texas chicken and 5 brothers need improvement on their chicken sandwiches. We haven’t had this good chicken sandwiches in a while in the selden area. These chicken sandwiches definitely saves you a trip to queens and Brooklyn. Definitely try the Abbas spicy chicken sandwich along with the masala fries the zaiqa sauce has the perfect amount of spiceness. Recently they just added 2 new menu items, which is the bun kabab burger and the zinger burger. But I still need to try their gyros, and the other sandwiches on their menu. However they need to hire more staff because their service is very slow and their always short staffed when...
