Great Wall Chinese Kitchen — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

I have been ordering from Great Wall for 15 years, so much so they know my usual order. I have never wrote a review in my life, however just been unemployed 12/10/21 and decided to treat my family with the last $30 I had. Despite the food of recent being sub par to be nice, the lady there was incredibly rude telling me I didn’t tip driver last time bec of a mistake I made. I usually tip min of 30%. Today she was incredible rude and called me back insisted that a tip of $4 or they won’t deliver a $25 order. I wouldn’t even give 1star but I had to to post this. In past their food was usually missing items or soda and never complained. I just want the public to know they make there own prices and the husband had actually apologized for his wife’s RUDENESS. Also NEVER WHERE COVID MASKS when preparing food. Have seen this numerous times when I pass store going to shopping center. I WILL NEVER ORDER AGAIN. I was so insulated how rude a person could be, and spoke to me like I was one of her slave children. I gave tip as I always do being my son delivers pizza and now door dash’s so I ALWAYS over tip. Btw their vegetables are soggy and they put more vegetables then meat. Also never said a word to them. PLEASE FIND A DIFFERENT place...

The lady that took my order was very friendly and helpful, and my order was ready to go in about 10 minutes, which is great. I like the decor in the dining/waiting area; it is clean and brightly lit.

The Dim Sum was perfect and delicious, and the portion was such that after eating them, I was absolutely stuffed. The Beef w. Oyster Sauce, which I saved for dinner, was made perfectly to order. The Egg Rolls were kinda meh, to be honest, but to also be fair, they're pretty meh almost every place I've been in the past few years. I'd chalk that up to a supplier problem, not the restaurant that heats and serves them.

I'd gladly pay double the price for an Egg Roll that was plump and with a thinner crust, like the way they used to be.

Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant and am looking forward to...

I am miserable rn!!!! My husband ordered for me because I am sick. My food was missing the rice, the white meat General Tso chicken was not white meat or general Tso sauce!!!! Impossible to even chew this low grade chicken!!!! My shrimp roll was soooo mushy, like baby food texture.
