We were passed onto Bliss when Bristols downsized. We had them for a little over 2 months. I called today to check the status of my billing. When I called a woman answered. I simply asked who I was speaking to. Her response? "Well, who am I speaking with?" I gave her my name and asked again who I was speaking with. She still would not divulge her name. She proceeded to ask for my information with what I perceived to be some annoyance. She finally provided the name of Darlene. At this point I am disappointed in the poor customer service because I simply asked for her name. I asked her to please clarify the billing etc. She did. The call ended. I was audibly irritated. After getting off the phone, I decided that as a paying customer, I absolutely DO NOT deserve to be treated like that. I called back approximately 1 hour later. The woman who answered was sweet as pie and provided her name as Mrs Bliss. I explained that due to poor customer service with Darlene, I wanted to cancel services. She proceeds to tell me that SHE is Darlene and "that doesn't sound like something I Would do". Further claimed she wasn't in the office an hour prior, that she was on lunch. Read moreBe wary when ordering a dumpster from these folks. When my boyfriend called to get the dumpster the lady on the phone says you can’t put any appliances or electronics in their dumpster. While looking at their website today it literally says the complete opposite and that you CAN put appliances and certain electronics in there. When my boyfriend called to let them know about this the lady on the phone was more than rude and then turned around and said you can put one of each appliance in the dumpster. Not sure if this is intentional on their part so when people put electronics or appliances in the dumpsters they can then charge you extra or what? Or maybe it’s a typo but the lady on the phone was beyond rude about it. Based off other reviews I see this is common with this company. You think they’d care to get someone more compassionate on their customer service end of things but obviously not. Thank god we don’t have them for trash pick up. I do have to say the gentleman that dropped off the dumpster was super nice. One star is for the rude customer service lady. Will not be using them in the future AT all based off of this interaction. Read moreI’ve seriously never been so pleased with a garbage company. Right after Christmas, I was so overwhelmed with garbage from the holidays that I was going to rent a small dumpster. I called Bliss to inquire and he asked me what I needed it for, so I explained. Without hesitation, he says “Just get it all out there. We’ll get it cleaned up for you!!!” And they sure did. Took every last thing. Since the holidays, my garbage flow hasn’t slowed down very much as I’m cleaning and preparing to move in a few months. Week after week they take it all, never leave a mess, put the cans back neatly. I’m very impressed and I think the city of Rome made a great choice.
