Tried to stop here to try it since it’s a new Greek place and was very hopeful for something other than the many Italian or Mexican restaurants in Mahopac. Upon pulling up, the place was closed and a handwritten sign literally said “Sorry closed due to chef being sick.” While the honesty is commendable, and closing is the right choice, that just conjures up horrible thoughts of communicable diseases mixed with food handling. By itself, that would not be the case, but the windows and door (the very first impression) were absolutely filthy.    Read moreAVOID!! Avoid this place. When they do actually open, which ends up being MAYBE 2 times a week, the order will be wrong. Ordered Greek orzo I believe it was. Got a Greek salad once I got home and opened the bag. Called, and they gave me an attitude and said since it left the restaurant they would not refund it. So needless to say, I threw the entire disgusting salad out because I can not eat kalmata olives or those grape leaves. Essentially, I threw my money right into the garbage. Then, I had to spend more money to go somewhere else for dinner.
Place should just shut its doors and owner should give up trying to open...
