For a small station it has many things you need: bathrooms, charging stations even if not a ton, comfortable chairs, music (it was too loud and especially not fun if you don't like their choice of music), snack machines and drinks, trash bins, a kiosk for train schedules and to buy tickets, and live ticket agents. Plus free working WiFi with no password. I know this is not related to the station… The inside of the Amtrak trains is another story ... not really clean ... the roommettes and sleeper cars are full of dust and carpet smells and needs a lot of updating bc the prices are not cheap for a tiny space w bunk beds. And the food is hit or miss... some trains have decent food and some just microwave a frozen breakfast that tastes worse than McDonalds.

A very good station. We've ridden the maple leaf to niagara falls a few times, and have always enjoyed it. The staff on the train was friendly, and did everything professionally. The station has always been clean, well maintained, and easy to navigate because of its simple design. We've gotten tickets here before, and it was always pretty quick and easy to do. The ticket office is run well, and the staff always does their job efficiently. On a side note, it's a great place to watch trains. Probably the best in the buffalo area. Signals are visible from both sides, and trains pass not 5 feet in front of you. Overall, a great place. Amtrak really know what their doing here.

Overall this is a clean and well maintained station. There are a few vending machines (3 for drinks and 1 for snacks). Plenty of seating as not many trains board/unboard here. There is nothing really within walking distance to do or places to get food or drink so bring them with you if you have a longer layover. Staff were friendly and helped us with a menu to order from a local place that delivers. Easy for people to drop off and pick up and the parking seemed ample and only 60% full when we were here.

A quite smallish Station with 110 seats inside and Parking for 40 Cars, short term free parking. The average train picks up 5 to 30 passengers from this station. I have been here as of 21 July 2019, 19 times. While the Snack machines are the typical Two Dollars Ten Cent to three dollars seventy five cents. These prices are typical of Train Stations all along the Am Track New York Line. The Ticket Price to New York Penn' Station from Buffalo Depew is below 130 Dollars. The trip takes between nine and ten hours to complete. The Trains are Clean and Neat. The summer months are on average are a temperature of 83 degrees with a humidity of between 65 and 90 percent by 1:00 PM. I only travel in the spring summer and fall months. Snow causes delays, so I do not travel by train between nov 15 through feb 15 if I can help it. The trains depart from this station on average every three hours. beginning at 7:40 am going eastwards towards New York Pen Station. Be at the Station one half hour before depart if traveling with an E-Ticket or 45 minuets if buying a ticket at this station. The average age of child passengers is between 4 and 16 years of age. Adults rage from 18 to 65 with an average age of 27. there are two stops west beyond this station at Buffalo Transfer and Niagara Falls...

This station served as the starting point for my first-ever Amtrak experience. We treated ourselves to a roomette for our journey across New York State to Penn Station in Manhattan. Had a great experience overall. It was great to be able to park our car (for free), grab our belongings, wait in the lobby for ~15 minutes for the train to arrive, board (without long/complicated security lines), and then sit back, relax, and enjoy our journey. If you have the time (and patience), it is a great way to travel.

This station currently serves as the primary Buffalo, NY hub - and I hope that changes over time. The new station downtown is very nice. It might also be great to see a new Amtrak hub (eventually) either at Canalside, or most ideally, at the Central Terminal in Kaisertown. Either way - props to Amtrak and the Depew station for kicking off a...
