I only go here if I absolutely need to. But I will never come here again after my most recent experience. Let me just start with a Few months back I bought a package of sliced Swiss cheese, opened it when I came home and it was moldy. Refrigeration coolers are Inadequate. BARELY keeping food cold. It has been that way for MONTHS. Last night I bought two containers of lunch meat, and some cream cheese. The lunch meat was spoiled! And the cream cheese tasted sour and also spoiled! Had to throw all of it out. I am NOT happy. You are selling spoiled product! Running the risk of people getting food poisoning/ sick! Fix your refrigeration cooler!!! Also the freezers that make ALL of the food freezer burned. ZERO quality...
Read moreI went into this store not feeling well, but needing to shop out of necessity for my job. After shopping, I went to put my groceries in the car. I couldn't push the cart through the mess from the snow. Mind you, this is NY in the middle of January. I normally wouldn't complain. HOWEVER, I went to knock some ice/slush off of my car and a man started SCREAMING at me that now other customers would have to walk in it. He informed me I was an inconsiderate "b**". THE PARKING LOT WAS AND IS A MESS! He was so rude that I was crying when I left. Guess what? This wasn't just someone who works there, but the OWNER! I CANNOT BELIEVE HOW NASTY BE WAS! Read moreJust returned from Food Towne trying to return strawberries that I had purchased Sunday afternoon. I had my receipt and the container with some berries I could not use (in my recipe). I did not want my money back, I would have taken credit and probably spent more than the $2.99 I spent on the strawberries!! I was told because I used some of the berries and did not return the unused full container the Manager would do nothing....I was in the middle of a recipe for a friends party and used what small amount I could at the time!!
