Burger Xpress — Restaurant in Town of Chili

Update: gave the place another try recently and ALL the food was excellent. I'm going to go ahead and say whatever issues they may have had seem to have been resolved. Makes me happy since we really want to support this local restaurant!

I'm really torn. I want to love this place, but the food hasn't been the best the last two times we've gotten food here. We ordered dinner and the chicken sandwich was burned, but the fries and onion rings were good! My husband said his fish sandwich was excellent and a good size, but the coleslaw looked kind of gross - although he said it tasted fine. I will try them again because we've had really good burgers and they have awesome milkshakes. Maybe tonight was just an off night? The staff has always been polite and friendly. The restaurant is always clean. So I cant be too...

BEWARE: If by some chance they get your order wrong, they will not remake it. Food was okay, average plate on the item that was right. Portion of order was incorrect, called within minutes to tell them. Claimed they couldnt do anything about it. Awful service, It was on Friday and they did say they could have the manager/owner call back Monday…yeah, ill wait an entire weekend to get a resolution for a simply fixed problem we dont need to wait for…1st time and last time, train employees so they can deal with a simple redo when an order is wrong. My wife and I stopped in for dinner tonight. the place is definitely shiny and new. Bright and clean. It’s a burger joint in Rochester so we ordered plates. The food was cooked to order but still came out pretty quick. Our plates hit on all of the key points of a true plate with large enough portions of mac salad and home fries. The meat sauce was pretty good too. The hard roll with a pat of butter in a plastic bag was a nostalgic add on.

The staff was friendly with smiling faces. While we were there someone came out to the dining area to straighten up chairs and wipe down tables.

Overall a good experience for a place that just opened yesterday....
