Jay was recommended to us on a whim by my husband’s co-worker. We had been trying to find a jeweler all day who would set my Alexandrite into a new ring and I was at my wits end. From the minute I walked into his store, he went above and beyond. Natural Alexandrite isn’t something people often have and his Jeweler took special care to be sure that my stone was secure in the setting. He reinforced the prongs and refused to take extra money for doing so. Most of the people I had called already told me up front they didn’t feel comfortable even setting it just because of what it is, let alone going the extra mile to make sure it would be perfect. I cannot express enough how thankful I am to have been referred to him. Stopped into Jewelry by Jay for the first time today. My daughter had broke her gold chain and I was hoping to sell the gold and replace the chain for her. I also had a piece that needed repair and bracelet that I have owned for 20 years and never worn that I wanted to sell. Jay, the owner, greeted my daughter and myself as soon as we walked through the door. He was very personable and knowledgeable. He gave me a very reasonable price for items that I wanted to sell, helped my daughter choose a charm for her new chain out of huge book of options and repaired my ring for free. Overall a great experience and we left very happy. We will definitely be going back for any jewelry needs...

Do not go there. I went to replace a watch battery. Jay claimed I had already removed the battery. I had not. The crystal was clear and uncracked. There was a woman in he store interested in a very expensive bracelet. The owner spent 10 minutes trying to sell her the bracelet. In the meantime I was waiting for the replacement battery for my watch.he was way mor3 interested in makin*g the sale for the $5,000 bracelet. He finally went out back and replaced the battery.
