I walked into my first kickboxing class here in the middle of November. After my first class, I honestly felt like I was going to puke but, I kept coming back. I continued to persevere and push myself because I knew this place was special. I felt it from the moment I walked in; personable, humble, and family oriented. I have made amazing friends I consider my “kickboxing family.” Before I knew it, I was staying for doubles, kickboxing for two hours a day, three days a week, five if I didn't have classes for grad school. This studio offered me something I had been looking for, for quite some time; an escape. A place I could go to work on myself, for myself. Every class is different, some days are good and some days are bad but, one thing has always stayed the same, and that is the level of support I have received from coach Amir. Coach Amir took me under his wing and showed me everything from how to throw a proper jab cross, to eating right. Over time, I have learned more about kickboxing than I ever thought I would, and I have grown to love it even more.
